He went to some kind of medical school?

Hiya, Rand Paul, how are you being terrible today? Doing a “filibuster“? Yelling at all the girl journalists, for not journalisming at you like you like? Telling jokes about your college Aqua Buddha hijinks when you “kidnapped” a lady, HAHAHAHA? (Probably not that, actually.)

Oh, HERE is how you are being terrible today:

The Kentucky Republican and presidential candidate released multiple statements Friday promising to use “all legislative vehicles” to “defeat and defund Planned Parenthood” next week. The statements on his Senate and campaign websites don’t directly mention the pending highway and transit legislation, but it is the next big-ticket item on the Senate’s to-do list, with a procedural vote set for Tuesday.

Hey, that’s a great plan! Great senatoring, too. Also, presidential candidate pandering. Who cares about dumb things like funding our nation’s transit systems when Planned Parenthood is, like, existing? What matters is that Sen. Dr. Paul saw that video — you know which video, that bullshit one that “exposed” Planned Parenthood’s senior medical director talking about doing abortions, which are legal, without even crying about it and apologizing for doing abortions, which are STILL legal, and donating fetal tissue to medical research, to save lives, which is ALSO legal.

Rand Paul, who calls himself a doctor, is presumably familiar with how doctors talk about medical procedures without getting all weepy and saying, “It is such a terrible tragedy that we must remove the hoosit with the whatsit, from this body” (but medical-like). And also, presumably he is familiar with what fetal tissue is and how it is extracted and why it is good for researchers to be able to use it to develop treatments and cures to diseases, to improve and save the lives of people who are already borned. Whatever, today he is not a doctor, he is a blathering idiot conservative politician trying to woo his party’s rabid conservative base, to become president, which is not going to happen. So, to do that, more gubmint business until he murders Planned Parenthood:

“The recent revelation that this taxpayer-funded organization is selling body parts of the unborn further proves that this agency deserves our scorn not our tax dollars,” he said in a statement. “I plan to do whatever I can to stop them and will introduce an amendment to pending Senate legislation to immediately strip every dollar of Planned Parenthood funding.”

We don’t know if Rand Paul was one of the members of Congress, like Reps. Trent Franks and Tim Murphy, who watched that SO BAD video a month ago and shrugged “meh, whatevs.” But now that the whole anti-choice movement is having itself a right hissy fit because Planned Parenthood exists and does healthcare to ladies, sometimes in their wombs, Rand Paul’s eager to remind everyone he is still running for president, please pay attention to him and not just Donald Trump all the time, please?

Fuck you, Rand Paul, you miserable terrible no good lying dick. If you’re not going to act like a doctor who knows better, at least try acting like a real senator who knows how to do his job. There, happy now?

ZOMG, Planned Parenthood is providing pre-natal care to women who would otherwise not receive any! This must be stopped at once because 1% of what they do is abortions, and the other 49% of what they do is other means of allowing those sluts to do whatever it is that sluts do, oh I do feel the vapors coming on!

  • AntiDerpomeme

The GOP clown brigade pandering race to the bottom continues apace. Thank God none of them will ever be president.

  • VandeGraf

Go Rand! There ain’t near enough illegitimate crackers in them Kentucky trailer parks! Hobbit Lobby and Chicken Fil-A gotta have a bigger labor pool if they gonna cut wages and do away with communistical health care!

    • Villago Delenda Est

Not to mention communistical minimum wages and overtime pay.

      • JohnBull

And weekends. I’d love to see Rand Paul’s voters have to give up weekends at the stock car races just to put in another mandatory shift at Papa Johns.

  • ArgieBargie

Careful there, Rand. You are quickly reaching Ted Cruz-levels of pandering.

    • Villago Delenda Est

      OK, now you’re encouraging him.

    • Sam Hain

“Love the fetus, Hate the child!”

  • Notreelyhelping

But, like if this was for-profit and they had a flashing blue light “ALL FETAL TISSUE MUST GO,” that’d be totally cool, right? Cause of the free market? “GET IT WHILE IT’S HOT!”

Don’t fall for it. They’re like that Persian rug store that’s been having a going out of business sale for the past 15 years.

    • Lascauxcaveman

AHA! Now I now what those devious Planet Parent hoods are doing, by handing out free birph control, they reduce the number of aborted babbies, creating a shortage and thereby driving the price of fetal tissue up into the stratmosphear so they can rake in big bucks!

And they basically own the market! Vertical integration!

  • Reddishrabbit

I’m so sorry (holds back his tears), but, I don’t know how to say, (pauses meaningfully), but, you have a (can’t hold it thick tears start to run down his check) an astigmatism! (Runs away crying).

It’s obvious that this is the ACORN play, right? It’s a carbon copy, even has some of the same actors.

And if it is the ACORN play, PP should start looking right now at the ways that ACORN has responded.

Speaking of ACORN–A squirrel has become an online sensation after it was reportedly “detained” when a woman called police to complain it was stalking her.

The panicked woman was unable to shake the rodent in the western German city of Bottrop, so turned to the authorities in desperation on Wednesday, police told Reuters. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/squirrel-detained-german-police-stalking-woman-n393686

    • Latverian Diplomat

I’m hoping that since PP is not totally dependent on government grants, and performs functions that are not involved in government oversight the way voter registration is, PP can weather this.

But Jesus J. Christ*, Our Dumb Media is doing everything they can to carry water for the right wing on this debunkable-in-five-minutes piece-of-crap story.

I really need to contact my Senators and Congressman, and tell them that I DEMAND the Hyde Amendment be repealed, and that I DEMAND that some of my tax dollars be explicitly used for abortion (and for free slut pills, and condoms, and….)

    mark

    • CognizantImpiety

And when they balk and bitch about “paying for it”, tell them no problem, the Pentagon has waaaaaaay too much money and would like to have some less, please.

      • Villago Delenda Est

It’s not so much the Pentagon, as it is the guys who sell things to the Pentagon who will scream. There are so many weapons systems that the Pentagon doesn’t really want or need, that some Congressman does, however, because it’s bringing home the bacon to the district.

Not that there are not a lot of disagreements amongst the generals and admirals about what weapons system is the most efficacious to accomplish the mission. The Army and Air Force have a great many disagreements about what’s the best way for the Air Force to support the Army on the ground, for example.

        • Blank Ron

Remember to donate to Planned Parenthood. If PP received big donations every time congress threatened it, soon enough politicians wouldn’t bring it up.

    • Enfant Terrible

We did something like that several years ago on the talk.abortion newsgroup on Usenet. We were getting flooded with anti-Margaret-Sanger posts, and were getting sick of refuting the same bullshit over and over again. So the pro-choicers (about 20 of them – including me!) announced that they would each donate a dollar to Planned Parenthood every time a new anti-Margaret-Sanger post appeared. We eventually got about $200 worth of donations before the right-to-liars relented.

    Ugh. Shush, Rand! Shush!

  • I recently read that fetal tissue has shown the ability to cure Parkinson’s in patients, but it takes three years for the cells to switch to healthy brain tissue. This was a trial from the 1990s and was halted for time and mostly religious reasons, but is being researched again precisely because of the lessening influence of idiots like Rand Paul. So things like this piss me the hell off.

    • Bill Slider

It goes beyond Parkinson’s to all forms of dimentia and includes physical detioration like Parkinson’s. That’s why Nancy Reagan supported stem cell research on fetuses, and why Barbara Bush likely will take up the cry now that the Senior George Bush is wheel chair bound with Parkinson’s.

    • Grizzly907LA

      Cord cells yield better results!

      • TheBidenator

Based upon what evidence…..? Because everything I’ve read suggests that fetal tissue is the way to go.

    • anhonestamerican

There are so many alternatives to fetal stem cells though that can be donated. Placental tissue, umbilical tissue, all these other “post-birth” cells are born of healthy born fetuses that can be used without rousing the rabble rousers, and providing needed medical research.

      • cessnadriver

        There are no better alternatives.

If you care about the issue so much you should go to church and self-flagellate over it.

        • anhonestamerican

Well I don’t see how that’s contributing to a postive discussion, but I’ll engage anyway…
There most certainly are better alternatives.
          http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2014/01/researchers-create-embryonic-stem-cells-without-embryo/
Granted this is a new science and will take a little bit of time to refine, but this is just one example of many that shows there are ways around emobryotic stem cell tissue cultivation. Besides the ability to “sell” them is what most find unethical.

There are several other ways to cultivate stem cells as well. Regardless, I’m not sure I’m 100% comfortable with having ALL research material derive from dead human tissue, especially “unborn babies” (yes I know they’re not actually “babies” persay, but that’s the argument and terms most often heard from the right). It would seem to some to almost be encouraging physicians to encourage women to terminate pregnancy especially if there is a monetary gain to be noted.

          • cessnadriver

In the opinion of your church. Therefore you are wrong.

          • Anarchy Pony

An argument has developed, on the other hand, that the Bible attaches less ‘personhood’ to foetuses and very young children. Exodus 21:22, a mere ten verses after the above injunction against murder, states that, if a man hits a woman, causing a miscarriage or premature birth, but no serious injury, he should be subject to a court-mediated fine from the woman’s husband. If this was the case, then the act of causing a miscarriage could not be construed as ‘murder’ (since compensation was not biblically allowed for murder[12]). This, while relying on a fair amount of extrapolation beyond the text itself, would seem to justify abortion, as it does not involve the taking of a human life. Furthermore, Numbers 5:11-31 seems to outline a priest-administered test for unfaithfulness, by administering an abortifacient ‘bitter water’ that would show if a woman had conceived (presumably out of wedlock).

There is also some precedent for divinely caused abortions: Hosea 9:11-16 (in which Hosea prays for God to cause Ephraim’s women to miscarry), for example.

          • Villago Delenda Est

Not fair! You’ve actually read the Bible and you’re using it against the inbred troll!

Actually a lot of Libertarians are torn on the issue of abortion. Some argue the “liberties” of the unborn, while others argue the “liberties” of the mother. It’s a toss up over here as well, and it doesn’t look like we’re going to be gaining any traction either.

      • TheBidenator

        Over here being…?

      • cessnadriver

Libertardian is a synonym for really really stupid republican.

        • TheBidenator

I like the explanation that a libertarian is a Republican who smokes pot…

          • anhonestamerican

ehh close. A Libertarian is normally socially progressive, but fiscally conservative.

          • TheBidenator

BS, not if they follow the Pauls, or Alex Jones or any Fox News so-called libertarians, those guys are all fundies. Right wing fundamentalist Christians are all authoritarian by orientation and training….

          • CognizantImpiety

Hey, that’s a great deal of orientation and training; started when they were still in diapers. Gotta gittum while they’re still too young to think for themselves.

          • Villago Delenda Est

This is the reason they’re all upset about the Ghey “recruiting” children to the “Ghey lifestyle”; they imagine that “the Ghey” are using the very tactics they use to sustain and increase the flock of Christianists. It’s projection, as it always is with these types.

          • Villago Delenda Est

That explains why Ron Paul and his worthless whelp both oppose a woman’s right to make her own medical decisions.

          • Anarchy Pony
          • AnOuthouse

No they’re not. Libertarians seem to not have consistent beliefs at all. I hear the opposite from many self identified libertarians.

          • Villago Delenda Est

“Libertarians” (and I rabbit ear that because it’s a branding term, not an honest political label) are basically about me, myself, and I. To the exclusion of everyone else, and fail to understand that sometimes their “liberty” must be constrained so that others can enjoy liberty as well. They never get this until their neighbor decides to open up an animal rendering plant on the property adjoining that of the “libertarian”, but even that sometimes does not drive the point home to them.

          • TheBidenator

The only position libertarians are consistent on is the one that is the most selfish….

          • TootsStansbury

        • anhonestamerican

          • cessnadriver

Because you are spectacularly not smart. Part of being a repig.

          • AnOuthouse

It’s Wonkette, no politeness required. Asshole. It’s simple, you’re a dude, its none of your business. Somehow when its a woman’s freedom, there’s a debate to be had.

      • Latverian Diplomat

I think the real reason they’re torn is that misogyny has always been part of the Libertarian mindset (yes, even Ayn Randwais a misogynist) and anti-choice is a powerful tool that any misogynist is reluctant to forsake.

        All the rest is rationalization.

As usual, the tell is ascribing all kinds of rights to fetuses, but viewing actual, living, breathing children as the property of and solely the responsibility of their parents with no rights at all and entitled to no government protections that don’t stem from their parent’s property rights.

  • Bill Slider

Hello, Planned Parenthood, this is Acorn. If your organization receives federal funding, directly, or through the tax code, such as being a non-profit, be careful, it’s GOP hatchet season. Now, if your non-profit business focuses on getting a higher voter turnout among the poor and minorities, or serves, even sometimes, those with lady parts, including abortions or other birth control measure, pretend you are Great Britain during WWII. Further, pretend the GOP is Hitler, except they haven’t chosen who will play that role just yet.
The GOP has walked away from overturning Roe v Wade, and now focuses on closing all medically safe abortion facilities. Their slogan, we want our country back, includes going from medically approved procedures for abortion, to coat hangers. How fucking stupid can Planned Parenthoods’ senior staff be? They should hide in a bunker until December 2016, and not talk about their future, as, at present, they have none.

  • Kat Anyperson

Tonight, on Grifter’s Weekly, Sen Paul will discuss the latest thing for which you should be outraged enough to send him money over.

  • anhonestamerican

Just because you’re a physician doesn’t mean you shouldn’t show compassion. To some people, it’s emotionally devastating to know that what they view as “babies” are being killed, much to the same as liberals viewing “racism” at every turn in America. It is medically unethical to SELL human tissue. Whether it’s alive or dead, it is unethical. Regardless of whether there is suspicion of another actual criminal offense. There are far more ways to ethically donate testing tissue. He’s making the big talk right now to win over the GOP “crazy” base, which whether or not we want to admit, they do exist. I mean who would you rather want as a potential president? A YEC whackjob like Huckabee, or Santorum? Or would you rather see a physician like Paul, or Carson. The calmest heads have to rally the mouthbreathers just like the rest of them.
Let’s make a couple things clear first though..First of all don’t bet on Cunton just yet. If yall want an honest shot at winning I’d be looking at Sanders. If not, well look forward to the GOP owning Washington. Hillary will never win. Especially not against Paul. The only way she’ll win is if she goes against someone like Trump, who by the way publicly supported her during the primaries 7 years ago against Obama.
We get it, yall are scared of Paul, as well you should be. His candidacy could easily spell “exile” of the left from the white house for the better part of a decade. I really don’t have a pony in this race, but my two favs (Sanders, and Paul) would really be a great campaign. Frought with a lot of shenanigans. I want Sanders to win, but if Paul wins, I can settle for a lot of what he has to say.

    • cessnadriver

I virtually never flag a post, but I make an exception here.

    • TheBidenator

What a steaming pile of concern troll nonsense….Hillary Clinton can’t beat Rand Paul based on what calculus? Rand Paul is a nut just like his father and stands zero chance of winning the GOP nomination. Even if he did win the GOP nom his positions on so many issues from civil rights to women’s rights to health care to governance to abortion are so extreme as to render him unpalatable to 60% of the country.

      • anhonestamerican

Well first of all Hillary has to win Ohio…Fat chance. She might win maybe Athens, but good luck on Cuyahuga, Lake, Franklin, and Hamilton counties (the counties that pretty much determine the state electoral vote) Paul could easily win Franklin, Cuyahuga, (maybe) Lake counties. He’ll easy win the other 87 counties, thereby winning Ohio. Ohio is a red state right now, and that’s not changing anytime in the near future. Obama won Ohio in 2012 sure, but look at his opponent. Romney was a goober and a half, and Ohio fell victim to his ilk’s crony capitalistic nature, and lost close to 60-70% of it’s manufacturing base. This turned Ohio into a primarily agricultural state, and naturally brought with it a lot of red supporters. Granted we’re a mecca in healthcare, and that industry tends to vote more towards the left, but unless manufacturing jobs and union friendly positions start coming back to Ohio, don’t expect to see a lot of Ohioans pulling the lever for a (D) anytime soon.

        • TheBidenator

You remind me of that unskewed polls guy who was SURE Romney would get something like 450 electoral votes in 2012. Hillary Clinton may not be my cup of tea but she has more money, better staffing, better name recognition, isn’t bogged down by lunatic policy beliefs easily exploited and appeals to moderates/suburbanites. Hillary Clinton also has access to Barack Obama’s operatives and is tracking left economically which is a good position to be in. Rand Paul has VERY limited appeal outside of the deep South where being a Fundie Christian/Libertarian (essentially a Christian Saudi Arabian) in already beat red areas appeals.

Also Obama won Ohio in 2008 and 2012 and it took purging eligible voters and other shenanigans for Dubya to squeak it out in 2004….wingnuts win it in off years when most people don’t vote but lose it in the general when people actually do vote.

          • anhonestamerican

How in the world can you possibly equate a Libertarian to a “Christian Saudi Arabian”? I assume you’re deriving some type of inference to Sharia Law? Which makes absolutely zero sense. Libertarians are all about smaller government, less criminal actions, and less people in prison. It actually closely mimics leftist social agenda.

        • Donna Rail

          Hi, troll. Bye, troll.

        • anhonestamerican

btw I’d be careful about that “moronic midwest” crack. Ohio is one of the only states in the union with a VERY red governor, a crazy surplus (considering the mess Strickland left) with new jobs being created, new industry coming to Ohio, leading the way in shale gas production, and all of that without legalizing marijuana (like how Colorado recovered from it’s economic dismay) although even that’s about to change either this year or next with either RO (not a big fan), or ORG/OTEP petitions. Which will generate even more revenue for this state. Not too shabby for a bunch of “morons” eh?

          • TheBidenator

Actually Ohioans are a bunch of morons and Kasich is only still governor because after getting his arse kicked on Union stripping he tacked to the left…Ohio is not a beat red state by any imagination, either. Where do you get your data? It’s even more purple than Florida and Florida has idiotically elected and re-elected that sleazy Medicare cheat….

          • Villago Delenda Est

Off year elections are often low turnout elections, which explains why Voldemort/Lex Luthor/Sauron/Your Pop Culture Villain of Choice got reelected in Florida. It also helps that Florida is one of the most active states in voter suppression tactics. Ohio has been, too.

I live in the Deep South and nope, Rand Paul wouldn’t beat Hillary here. I don’t expect him to even be on the ballot by the time we get to Super Tuesday. D00d is D E L U S I O N A L.

    • Bitter Scribe

You have no fucking idea what you’re talking about. No tissue was “sold.” PP merely sought to recover the cost of donating it. As for “Cunton,” she’ll chew Paul up and spit him out, in the highly unlikely event he gets the nomination.

If you can go from Sanders to Paul while skipping over “Cunton,” it means you’re as stupid as your avatar.

      • anhonestamerican

I’m not a big fan of elitist bitchbags that lie under oath, conspire to preform unethical acts, don’t follow simple OPSEC procedures, and continues to lie at every corner. • anhonestamerican

Doesn’t mean it’s unethical. Just because something is popular, doesn’t mean it isn’t wrong. Recovering funds from donation, sound eerily similar to “selling”, and yes it is unlawful to harvest and sell human tissue. That’s called “organ trafficking”.

Whatever else is true about Rand Paul, he does have an M.D. Which means he knows perfectly well that reimbursement for expenses of packing and shipping tissue donations is not “selling body parts”. Which means that he is not confused, or intemperate, or naturally suspicious about this matter.

He is LYING through his teeth, to try to generate some publicity. One would hope that even people, who might otherwise find him to be in some ways a desirable candidate, would be offended and put off by his straight up LYING.

One’s hopes would, of course, be dashed.

    • Legion32

Gary Johnson appears to be a real Libertarian candidate but some of his views are off the mark and won’t go over well with the majority of voters such as abolishing the DoE, etc. He also puts limitations on his pro-choice views so there’s that also. If I had to pull a libertarian name out of a hat that represents freedom, liberty, choice, etc. I’d go with the socialist running in this one – Bernie “I-don’t-much-time-for-this-press-conference-because-I-have-work-to-do” Sanders. Personally like a lot of what both stand for. Rand Paul doesn’t stand for anything that he can’t defer back to Madison who last time we checked has been dead for 200 years. Paul, like his Daddy, has to be the most spineless candidate in the entire race.

Oh cool, then I guess the loss of government funding wouldn’t be a big deal to them.

        • Axomamma

What sarafina means is that PP accepts direct donations already. You can donate to the parent organization or your local PP. This does not mean PP doesn’t need federal funding to provide services to low-income people, just that GoFundMe is unnecessary.

IOW – YOU are subsidizing the massive number of Walton family billionaires out of your tax dollars so they can abuse their employees.

ALL of that money SHOULD be going to people who can NOT work and to other worthy projects like infrastructure.

I was being snarky to the other person, your reply should go to them.

  • Legion32

Just gonna leave this here and go to bed for an early rise in the a.m. For the strict constitutionalists out there, one of our early founders understood liberty as a timeless idea that evolves and progresses with each generation:

Kaili Joy Gray next time try to use proper ENGLISH “people who are already borned.” where did you learn that word?

    At least proof read it.

    • Dudleydidwrong

      New here?

    • Gascoigne

Friendly suggestion: Be happy and don’t be so serious!

      • cleos_mom

Gud Inglush iz 4 peepul with buk smartz.

        • Gascoigne

Geoffrey Chaucer actually spelled words the way they sounded in his day, and yet, we continue with his archaic spellings, like in the words “knife” and “night.” Truly, which era had the more logical way of doing things?

          • cleos_mom

Eyem a reel Amurrcn downt no hoo that iz

    • vivian

Correct Sir! The proper locution, I believe, is thus: “Peoples what is already bornded.”

    • Enfant Terrible

Pedantic and pretentious is no way to go through life.

    • ohpaleasegivemeabreak

I know this may be hard to understand but that was intentional.

    • Silly boy. You must be lost.

This is Wonkette. Here there be Grammar Dragons.

Abortion is MURDER plain and simple

    • Dudleydidwrong

You are welcome to your opinion–and it is an opinion, not “plain and simple” to many. Science and law differ. I’ll take your statement as serious when I see those who agree with you pushing hard for support for children in this nation: food, housing, education, parental support. Until then, your statement rings hollow.

      • Kat Anyperson

        *long slow clap* ^^^this^^^

    • alwayspunkindrublic

You sound so much LOUDER when you use all caps.

    • sosuume

And your recommended punishment for this “CRIME” is …

      • cleos_mom

They never answer that one, especially when you include “life in prison without parole or the death penalty?” Sometimes I throw in a question about whether or not the speaker would like to watch the execution.

But they never really answer; it’s always some responsibility-free evasion like “that would be for the jury to decide”.

    • vivian

Plain and Simple seem to be two things with which you are well acquainted. For others reality is invested with a degree of complexity. That does not make them wrong and most importantly it does not make you right. When I want advice from a philosophical suicide, I’ll ask for it.

    • SoSezYou

Sorry freak, but you make a woman’s choices a rightwing veto affair, which you aren’t allowed to do…and considering your ideology’s treatment of children you’ve relinquished any self appointed rights you have to children before they are human…ie born. Sorry junk science doesn’t make a fetus something which it isn’t.

    • Thomas Mc

Cutting benefits for the poor is Murder, plain and simple.

    • Enfant Terrible

      Only crazy people believe that.

    • Ants In My Eyes Johnson

And chopping off your balls is the only 100% effective way to make sure you never cause one. Please do this immediately or everyone will write you off as a hypocrite.

Government by YouTube video. That seems promising.

  • JohnR

Got an email from my Congressman this morning, 7/18 about how he”s going to stop Planned Parenthood from selling baby parts.

  • Zyxomma

I was unaware of the video until last night when PBS Newshour covered it. Rand Paul should be ashamed of himself, but, like his father before him (and the entire modern GOP), knows no shame.

    • ohpaleasegivemeabreak

Are the Ron Paul doom and gloom the sky is falling and you olds are going to suffer and die unless you go to my website and give me money so you can be saved commercials playing in your city?

He’s saying that the 2008 crash will pale in comparison and all elderly on SS & Medicare are going to suffer massively.

Well – YEAH, Ron you nutball douchenozzle – you’ve got your son working hard to be sure that the economy crashes so hard that no one except the 1% will have food ever again.

  • Thomas Mc

That thing on his head is starting to look as rediculous as The Donald’s.

    • Me not sure

“Hair debate, only on Fox News”

  • Me not sure

“The Kentucky Republican and presidential candidate released multiple statements Friday promising to use “all legislative vehicles” to “defeat and defund Planned Parenthood” next week.”

Is a clown car considered a “legislative vehicle”?

    • Riggsveda

And can you “defeat” an entity that’s neither engaged in war nor playing a game? Or is the GOP declaring war on breast cancer victims now? PP is giving aid and comfort to survivors and must be defeated?

      What the… I can’t fap to this.

  • Enfant Terrible

Here’s an update: the so-called “Center for Medical Progress” is a front for the anti-abortion group Live Action, and appears to have obtained its non-profit status by misrepresenting its mission to the IRS. In similar fashion, it has misled its donors wrt its purpose. It’s not for nothing that I call these folks “right-to-liars”.

The last Pope pimp must have pimp slapped Ran Paul, and he ain’t been the same since?

  • BeckyLB

I’m always reminded of this, on seeing these sorts of arguments.

  • Sterculius

The GOP is all for the babbies … until they are born, and need to eat, and need medical care, and a safe place to live, and eduction, and a job that pays more than minimum wage. When will the GOP finally figure out that they are saving MOOCHERS!
