I call B.S. on Hillary, too

This whole thing between Hillary and Barack has become tedious. In order to be fair, I need to level my literary gun (isn't that quite the overstatement of my power) at Ms. Hillary "I've Seen Some Gun Play In My Time" Clinton.

Sometimes when I am really TIRED or even just a little TIRED, I misspeak. I am not talking about some sloppy grammar, that happens even when I am awake and at my very best. I am talking about the Mack Daddy of Misspeaking, making up things. One time, when I was TIRED, I launched in to an entirely made up story about the time I was pinned down by sniper fire coming from my neighbors roof. My neighbor was on the roof with his guns. I even missed my dental appointment because I couldn't leave the house. My life is way more important than my teeth cleaning. After I told the the story, my spouse said, "I never knew that happened to you." I was TIRED and the story just popped out of my mouth. After my spouse confronted the neighbor, I admitted that I "misspoke" because I was TIRED. It happens, right?

ANOTHER BIG FAT LIE BY ANOTHER LIAR. Where did we get these K-Mart Candidates???

This spouse of mine made a great point about Hillary's Sniper Fire Story. Okay, so Hillary made up a Death Defying tale of the Bosnia Rain of Bullets because she was TIRED (so she says) when caught in what looks like a lie to the untrained eye. Isn't she the same person who has been running around saying she would be the best person to answer the emergency call at 3am because of her experience???? Holy Mackerel, what happens when she picks that phone up at 3am and she is TIRED????

Hillary: Ah, hello [clears throat]...snore

I've never really cared which Democrat gets the nomination (with one possible exception) because I saw them all as having strengths and weaknesses. As far as I'm concerned, Hillary and Obama are pretty much equals and up until maybe this week, I held out hope that we'd get some kind of unity ticket. Unfortunately though, it looks like it may be too late and the most, we can hope for from this point is that the vocal Obama supporters don't cost us the election in the fall.

(I haven't ran the numbers lately, but it's something like only 20% of registered Democrats have voted for Obama and that's an even smaller fraction of the electorate. Come November, there aren't going to be any superdelegates to help either Democrat get over the hump)

Her readiness, on day one or any other day, has been more or less refuted by how she's managed to bungle a nomination that was nearly a coronation only six months ago; the examples she's provided herself of her foreign policy experience amount to some PR work that she lied about; and I haven't seen any evidence of her expertise in any other areas, either. Beyond that, she won't even release her fucking tax returns.

I'm not saying there isn't a case to be made for her, but I sure wish someone would make it.
