GOP’s New ‘Joe The Plumber,’ ‘Chris The Baker,’ Just As Tawdry As The Last One

Oh, did the Republicans make someone their new national hero for being rude to a Democrat, in this case our dream lover, Old Handsome Joe Biden? They did? That’s so weird, we would never have guessed. You will remember this “Chris the Baker” fellow from cupcake-blocking Joe’s appearance in his cupcakery, because he was mad that Obama said he didn’t build that. Well, Chris the Baker might have built it! But he also built another place, which he reportedly fled in the middle of the night with his rent unpaid. Why are all these people who refuse to pay their bills so staunchly Republican? Oh, did we just answer our own question? We did! GOP Convention’s ‘We Built It!’ Theme Night To Be Held In Arena That Government Built

In addition to summoning forth dread hurricanes to (probably) destroy any Florida seniors accidentally left standing in the wake of Paul Ryan’s spending cuts, this year’s GOP convention will bring to Tampa (and viewers whose remote controls are just out of reach) a terribly droll spin on President Obama’s recent musings re: whether or not you built that. (Stage-whispered hint: HE HAS HIS DOUBTS.) The just-announced theme for the Tuesday Night Republican Club: “We Built It!” Yup. That’s about what they’re going with, looks like. But did they? Build “It”? Read more on GOP Convention’s ‘We Built It!’ Theme Night To Be Held In Arena That Government Built…

Daily Caller Reporter Gotchas All Over Will Ferrell And Zach Galifianakis’s Face

Blah blah blah, Daily Caller wants to trip up some Hollywood ‘lites with policy gotchas, who cares. Just skip to 1:16, when the Daily Douchebag starts a question with “What about the president recently saying if you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that, somebody else did?” Ferrell has had enough derp and tries to just get away from this sad little man. But look at the contempt on Zach Galifianakis’s face as he realizes the complete and utter bullshit of the very foundation of the question. He is ready to punch the Daily Caller “senior video reporter” in the cock. He is probably going to murder a hooker later with the force of his rage-fucking. That is all. Guy Who Thinks Small Business Loans Aren’t ‘Government Help’ Also Can’t Tell Cusses From Threats

So it turns out that the business owner in that dumb Romney ad about the fake “You didn’t build that” line, and who it turns out actually did rely on government loans and contracts for some of his business, now haz a sad because some people have been calling and emailing his business to say mean things about him. Jack Gilchrist, owner of a metal fabrication company in Hudson, New Hampshire, appeared in the ad, above, whining about being “demonized” by the President for being successful, which of course rather badly misses the point. Gilchrist is a self-made man whose wholly self-built business merely happened to receive over $1 million in loans from state and federal government programs, and continues to rely on defense contracts for about 10% of its business. But, you see, that is absolutely NOT hypocrisy, because he is just looking out for himself: Read more on Guy Who Thinks Small Business Loans Aren’t ‘Government Help’ Also Can’t Tell Cusses From Threats…

Texas Congressman Pete Olson Is Here to Defend Honor of America, Capitalism, Ladies’ Purse Parties

Question: is the American spirit of entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and rugged individualism so very very delicate that it can’t withstand the weight of a simple declarative sentence? Answer: yes. Yes it is. Luckily, many people, some of them idiots and most of them Republicans, have taken to the internets and airwaves to defend the honor of America, and FREEDOM! Like: this guy! Representative Pete Olson (R-Tex), who took time away from the Beef Caucus, the Rice Caucus, and the Diabetes Caucus (along with a bunch of other caucuses) to type a bunch of stuff for the Hill about entrepreneurial spirit and defend the honor of  those ladies who have purse parties. (No, seriously.) Because is Obama really saying that these nice ladies didn’t “build” their own purse party empires, and how DARE he?
