Here’s Your Oliver Stone ‘W’ Dubya Trailer

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

Well, this looks terrible. And, uh, Lloyd Bentsen as George H.W. Bush, that’s very inspired casting. The Laura Bush and Condi Bush Rice actors/characters look like they might be semi-believable, and that’s about it. Terrible soundtrack. Just looks terrible, all around. Of course, no biopic could ever compare with the rancid stupid tragedy that is the life of George W. Bush, who should have been cremated at birth. UPDATE: This one appears to work, for now. Will George W. Bush Assassination Cover-Up Movie Ever Be Released?

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Fantasy baseball film of the centuryThe Los Angeles Times reports that Oliver Stone is still working on his terrible W biopic, which will include his signature “twist ending” in which the hero is assassinated by the CIA. This movie is a guaranteed epic tragedy of Shakespearean proportions, with Elizabeth Banks as Queen Gertrude.

One of the more awful aspects of this $30 million dollar abortion is that it features a “baseball-oriented fantasy framing device.” Also, Oliver Stone says, “We are trying to walk in the footsteps of W and try to feel like he does, to try to get inside his head.” So we are forced to conclude this movie will basically be like Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl, except on a baseball field. Oliver Stone Movie Will Solve George W. Bush’s Assassination

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

Dems took mah big flag :(Beloved filmmaker Oliver Stone hasn’t done anything interesting since 1963, when he made the “Zapruder Film” that showed how JFK was killed by the Conspiracy. Now the veteran director is taking on the story of another person who lived in the White House: the president of freedom, George W. Bush. Not even a Leonard Cohen soundtrack or Tommy Lee Jones playing a mincing New Orleans homosexual could make this movie not suck. MORE »

The new National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) on Iran “concludes that Iran halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003 and that the program remains frozen, contradicting judgment two years ago that Tehran was working relentlessly toward building a nuclear bomb.” No word yet on whether this will affect Bush’s plans to invade Iran for working relentlessly toward building a nuclear bomb.
