In a surprising upset yesterday, noted actor/activist/Susan Sarandon life partner Tim Robbins came out in support of John Edwards, bucking the “left wing activist actors for Kucinich” trend started by Sean Penn and Woody Harrelson. Tim realizes he’s not Oprah (I guess, despite the mad scientist hair, he does own a mirror) but he decries the rich getting richer and wants to help the average American’s voice be heard again. Also, um, you know, if Edwards loses, he thinks we should vote for whatever Democrat wins, but he forgot no one is supposed to say that yet, so keep it to yourselves [Washington Post]
