Earlier this morning, we showed a clip of Bush at this morning’s year-end press conference discussing what traits he’d like to see in the new president. While he ardently refused to get discuss the candidates, he basically called flip-floppity Mittens a sally. But among the recommendations he passed along to his potential heirs was that they should strongly consider who they surround themselves with. Wonkette has parsed Bush’s cryptic language, and here’s what we think he had in mind.

In this clip from Bush’s year-end press conference this morning, he gives his “advice” for the candidates running for president: BE STUBBORNZ LIKE MEEEE, effectively. Indeed, all this talk about convictions and “ignoring polls and focus groups”… sounds like someone’s not voting for Mitt Romney. Also: OMG, Helen Thomas!
