The brilliant Washington State Democratic party went about making an attack ad of Republican gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi by using a “Sopranos” theme. In case you don’t know anything about life, “Dino Rossi” is the most Italian name since “Papa John Pizza.” And so the “Italian Club of Seattle” got predictably offended and called it “racist,” against dinosaurs. A district in Washington State has banned showings of Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth,” because Jesus Freaks are angry about Al Gore saying anything about how the Earth is melting and there’s no God to save us. Hating on Mexicans and “Islamo-Fascists” every day might seem like a full-time job, but orange-headed Space.com-founder Lou Dobbs found time this holiday season to hate on an observant Jew, too. According to Populist Lou, a “militant fundamentalist rabbi” complained about all the Christmas trees at Seattle’s airport, and Christmas was ruined for Jesus-fearing white children throughout the Pacific Northwest. Some of the cities on the GOP ‘08 Convention shortlist seem a bit unlikely (we’ll be a mite surprised if a Republican sets foot in New Orleans any time in the next 10 years, let alone 2), but they are the “tent that is a bit smaller, but still fairly large, we promise Party” (aren’t they?), so no city is too blue for their attention.
