Here’s Washington DC’s Make Believe Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton getting tested for AIDS yesterday. A “mobile health bus” has parked itself behind Rayburn and is inviting all members to go in and get tested themselves. We’re pretty sure Congress already has a nurse’s office, by the way. It’s where Denny Hastert goes for his lie-downs when he gets winded from standing up too fast.

* This is how the world will end, not with a bang, but a clank, and the thump of a pneumatic hammer on an elevator. We’re relieved that no one was hurt, but it sure was exciting covering all the action. Er, whatever it is that passes for action.
