- NO SENATE VOTE BEFORE STUPID AUGUST VACATION: Oh look, it is now official, because Harry Reid said it: the Senate will not vote on a health care reform package before the August recess. Why not delay the recess a month or two and finish things while you have momentum — you know, the “not offensive to everyone” solution? [NYT]
