Just a couple of years ago when the Democratic party was in tatters, some bright bulb had the idea to run a bunch of centrist Dems in a variety of Senatorial races and the next thing you know, boom, MAJORITY. The Republicans may have caught onto this trick, because now they are talking about running a bunch of non-wingnut folks such as Tom Ridge and our own hero Charlie Crist. This might be good news for America, but it is certainly terrible news for comedy. [The Hill]
