- TERRIBLE SHOOTINGS AND DEATH EVERYWHERE: Arkansas Democratic Party chair Bill Gwatney was shot yesterday by some crazo who burst into his office in Little Rock. Four hours later Gwatney died. The gunman, Timothy Dale Johnson, was killed by the police. [Los Angeles Times]
