Two party posts in one day? Anything’s possible when you put shit off till the last minute! This weekend we forced
The Onion, America’s only readable newspaper, has opened a DC branch. And whenever anyone does anything in DC, they need to throw a party or two. The first two Onion parties was held last Thursday at the Black Cat. We went, because the Black Cat is within walking distance and they were nice enough to put us on the list.
Art! In Washington! It’s a crazy idea, but the kids at artDC decided to run with it. They put a bunch of art in the convention center, then lured hipsters over with the promise of beer and Ian Svenonius!
While we at watched last night’s debate in the usual fashion — at home, alone, chainsmoking, drinking bourbon, hating our jobs, making countless typos, cursing all of you under our breath — some people like to enjoy those vile things in groups, and in public, even. Among those people are NARAL, who invited us to attend their Debate party at Stetson’s.
