OBAMA'S LAST NIGHT AS PRESIDENT OF ANYTHING

Liveblogging The GOP’s Insane Blowout In Virginia

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

That’s Jefferson Davis, in the picture! Nearly 150 years ago, Jefferson Davis moved to Richmond, Virginia to become the first president of a new country where slaves could still pick the cotton, and indigo. Davis’ run came to an end eight years ago, when Democrat Mark Warner stole Davis’ Richmond mansion and all of its slaves. Democrat Tim Kaine did the same to Mark Warner four years later. But now it is Republican Bob McDonnell’s turn to take the mansion and slaves back from the liberals, the end. Polls close in a few minutes! Wolf Blitzer says he is “so excited,” oh ho ho… MORE »

Liveblogging Obama’s Latest Teevee Show, Part 1

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

Hey Obama’s gonna be on the teevee in a few minutes to read Das Kapital from his TELLYPROMTARRS, all 40 of them. We’re commemorating this occasion with some classic racist Internet art from the campaign. What a schmuck, this guy! We’re watching CNN analyze the “goals” with this conference, and it’s already paralyzing. First thing we hear are the words “sell the American people.” Who cares about the American people? They voted already. Anyway… MORE »

IF IT WALKS AND TALKS LIKE A MAOIST

Liveblogging Nancy Pelosi And Joe Biden And Their Friend And Maybe Bobby Jindal

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

The best part of this speech (parts one, two, and three) was definitely when Obama started making jokes about Joe Biden, which is how he “deals” with Joe Biden. (”I have no idea who this insane Delaware hustler is, always following me around, ha ha!” etc.) Otherwise we’ve heard a lot about working on green technology, health care, and education, but very little about new Weaponry. How are we to go about the business of Warring? MORE ERIC CANTOR. MORE »

Liveblogging The End Of John ‘Walnuts’ McCain’s Address To Outer Space

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

All we see is some old man with a big green screen behind him. *Hopefully* this isn’t what the McCain people decided would be a good idea, which it wouldn’t, for the second time. Oh God now the screen just got “smoky” green like death! Now it’s blue! Code Pink! COUNTRY FIRST. MORE »

Liveblogging Hillary’s Big Kentucky Victory Lap!

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

This is Eight Belles, the lady horse that got second place in this year’s Kentucky Derby and then was fucking killed immediately on the track. As Geraldine Ferraro would say, that is racism. Or the other one. Yes, it was ageism that killed Eight Belles. But Hillary Clinton has fared better than her horse-surrogate and won in Kentucky. Geraldine Ferraro would approve. Let’s liveblog more (part 1) idle chatter, on the teevee! MORE »

If Barack Obama Is So Good At Basketball, Why Can’t He Win HOOSIERS?

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

After all, wasn’t the inventor of basketball, Al Gore, from Indiana anyway? These are two of the many questions surrounding tonight’s Indiana primary, which will be followed by a North Carolina primary like 30 minutes later. Results, that is. Is Chris Matthews punching Keith Olbermann yet, which is what he does to get off? Let’s liveblog more (part one here) and hope that Hillary doesn’t finally kill our souls forever.

7:30: Barack Obama projected to win North Carolina; Indiana too close to call but Hillz is winning. MORE »

BARACK OBAMA

Andrew Sullivan Wins Cleveland Debate

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

Given the Main Stream Media’s overt bias against Hillary Clinton, it’s very difficult to find a good, objective debate verdict the morning after. Fortunately we have bloggers like Andrew Sullivan to tell it like it is. While Sullivan writes dozens of posts a day, since forever, preaching against Hillary Clinton’s very Clintonian smear campaigns, diabolical nature and disgrace to the female gender and America, he actually apologized for his previous Iraq War support. Now that we can trust everything he says, let’s check out his liveblog of the debate last night to see, objectively, who won. MORE »

MITT ROMNEY

Liveblogging Mitt’s (Maybe) Quitter Speech

Thursday, February 7th, 2008

Naked journalist Mark Halperin is on the Fox News talking about Romney “likely” dropping out during this speech at CPAC today. Is he right? Couldn’t he be wrong? MAYBE HE’S WRONG?? Oh, false hope, ye demon! Let’s see what the Great White Hope, our Mittens Romney, has to say. MORE »

DEMOCRATS

But Will They Ever Love? Liveblog Part II

MaryHat1.jpgHey look, Hillary and Barry are minding their manners. Probably at 9, right when Lost starts, they’ll fight like The Others, against The Other Others (blacks)! Eh? Eh? MORE »

DEMOCRATS

It’s An Old Fashioned Hollywood Debate!

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

Fifth debate in the last two weeks. Maybe fourth. Whatever. There have been more than zero, and now we’ve got our last one before Super Tuesday, until the other one that will probably happen before Super Tuesday. How will Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton fare in this important (Barack is almost even with Hillary in California, says some poll!) debate? Whatever happens, this is an historic occasion: the Democratic nomination for president will not go to a white man this year. Instead, it’s a choice between two black women. Liveblogging hooray… MORE »
