Famous blogger Markos “Kos” of the Daily Kos liberal website claims that this is Barack Obama’s birth certificate, which he obtained by asking the campaign. As you can see, it is clearly false: his race is not “African” as this crap-ument suggests, it is “Muslim,” and the Wingnuts live another day. [Daily Kos]

This general election prediction map comes from the famous angry blogger Kos. It pits Unelectable Obama vs. Maverick McCain and allocates states according to the current Pollster.com state polling averages, so there’s no “funny business” with the math. While the numbers grant Obama Ohio and Pennsyvlania, they don’t give him Michigan (supposedly a must-win), Florida, Virginia or Nevada. The result? Obama 283, McCain 255. And this is how Al Gore will become president again at the Convention. [Daily Kos]

We knew that the kinda-Demrat Sen. Joe Lieberman had gone WALNUTS! a while back, but we didn’t know how literal the descent into loony dipshittery was. This morning, Lieberman endorsed John McCain for president. Yeah, Joe endorsed a Republican, so that’s in any way surprising. This cross endorsement should help Walnuts with the independent-ish Rockefeller Republicans in New Hampshire, and should also finally send the Kos people sprinting Joe’s way with a pickax. [CNN]

Local paper The Hill is hiring two sorta famous new columnists! One is Jim Mills, the former senior producer at Fox News who quit that to work for Fred Thompson and was fired shortly thereafter. The other is Markos Moulitsas, who runs that outfit that’s always babbling on about netroots.

Apparently Bill O’Reilly has been going on about Daily Kos lately, because he’s a good three years behind everyone else on the internet. Using the typical marginalizing strategy of conflating the site with its craziest commenters, O’Reilly has compared the site to the Klan and the Nazi party — he even got JetBlue to withdraw sponsorship of Kos’ little convention!
