MATH IS NOT A MICROTREND

Mark Penn Declares Blogging Latest Microtrend (UPDATE: Mark Penn Unsure If Blogging Is Latest Microtrend)

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

Failed campaign strategist/pollster/tyrant Mark Penn writes in his always forward-thinking Microtrends column today: “Paid bloggers fit just about every definition of a microtrend.” Hooray! We’re eating steaks tonight! And then maybe some dancing, MMHMM? Tell us more: “In America today, there are almost as many people making their living as bloggers as there are lawyers.” Hoor– HUH? Oh god this entire fucking column is wrong, isn’t it? MORE »

Well If ‘Famous Person’ Said So, Then Maybe We Should Reconsider

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Yeah… so who’s running the Thursday night copy desk for digital advertising over at McCain central? This is two Friday mornings in a row, CAN YOU PEOPLE PROOFREAD? McCain should fire this slouch and replace him with Andrew Cuomo. [Mollygood]

Rep. Joe Wilson Screws Up Completely

Monday, August 18th, 2008

Here’s Republican Rep. Joe Wilson of South Carolina, posting a press release on his website which, unfortunately, is actually a mocking press release sent out earlier by his Democratic opponent, Rob Miller. It has been on the front page for many hours, highlighted by the following first paragraph: “Today, incumbent Congressman Joe Wilson began his election-year bus tour for the status quo. Wilson, who has proudly voted with the Bush administration over 95% of the time, is trying to convince voters that the country is on the right track and simply needs more of the same policies and ideas.” Maybe this is a new sort of double secret irony to which we are not attuned? OH SHIT, he literally just took it down. [Joe Wilson For Congress via Crack The Bell]

HA! Kristol’s Entire Argument Proven Factually Wrong

Monday, March 17th, 2008

So Bill Kristol forms an entire argument on Barack Obama lying about attending church services on July 22, 2007, and then it’s proven that Barack was not lying at all — he wasn’t there on July 22, 2007. Kristol has updated his column with this correction now: “In this column, I cite a report that Sen. Obama had attended services at Trinity Church on July 22, 2007. The Obama campaign has provided information showing that Sen. Obama did not attend Trinity that day. I regret the error.” Ha ha ha, he is always so wrong about everything he tries to do. Laugh at the person who is wrong all the time! Yes, laugh at him; he will not save you when the end draws near. [NYT]
