Today’s took a surprisingly long time to compile. It seemed like a good idea to look at all the funny terms we used to describe our Political Enemies, and it turns out that phrases like “rancid shit-sack,” “vulgar fraud,” “human garbage,” and “cretin” turn up with shocking frequency around these parts. MyenemiesCapitol Hill Blue — the political rag that also functions as a tin foil hat — is “reporting” that Bush has an “enemies list,” the domestic kind: “If you want to know who’s sleeping with whom, who drinks too much or has a fondness for nose candy, this is the place to find it.” We’ll take all of the above! Especially since, apparently, we’re on the list. Does it matter that the list is likely less a product of the White House’s paranoia than Capitol Hill Blue’s? Not so much.
