We have no idea what Bush and Blitzer were talking about in that CNN interview that ran Sunday. But this bit from the president gave us nightmares: “I like to tell people when the final history is written on Iran — Iraq — it will look like just a comma because there is — my point is, there’s a strong will for democracy, these people want a unity government, the unity government’s functioning.”
How about hitting the bong after the interview?
A look at the history books of the future, &* @! ~+ #%$ … we mean, “after the jump.”
How is that unity government functioning over in Commaland, anyway?
Iraq’s feuding ethnic and sectarian groups moved ahead Monday with forming a committee to consider amending the constitution after their leaders agreed to delay any division of the country into autonomous states until 2008.That’s sorta unity, right? Meanwhile, another hundred people got blown up. Happy Ramadan, suckaz!
Meanwhile, some retired top guns from the Pentagon are on the Hill today demanding Rumsfeld be considered an asterisk … er, “sent packing.” And some 4,000 unlucky troops got the grim news today that they’ll be in Iraq at least six weeks beyond their expected January homecomings.

As in: "First we invaded Iraq, then Iran, then Syria, then..."
Iraq will look like a comma after they see what we do to Iran!
Whereas the Bush administration will be remembered as the # and the @ between an "F" and an "ing failure."
Why does everyone seem to miss the actual quote?
Bush: I like to tell people when the final history is written on Iran--Iraq--it'll look like just a comma. Uh, because, um, there is--my point is there is a strong will for democracy...
God I hope it's just Bush's poor geography skills and not a Freudian Slip.
At some point in the future we will all be aghast when it becomes known just how many prescription drugs Bush was medicated on throughout most of his presidency.
In his early Presidency, I thought, "This guy has to be stoned." In later years, I thought, "This guy is an idiot." Now I have finally figured it out: A stoned idiot - perhaps with early Alzheimers?
Jesus, he really did say "Iran" first. I've fixed the quote.
Rather than preemptively planning an even larger scale military tour through Iraq (Iran, Syria...will it ever stop!), Bush should consider addressing the UN Millenium Goals as an alternative approach for the region. M. Moore of the WTO says it best, "poverty in all its forms is the grestest single threat to peace, security, democracy, human rights and the environment." See www.borgenproject.org
The above map should be changed with Iran having xxxx's superimposed completely throughout the country! The same should go for Lebanon and Iraq.
Wow. Bush is stealing slogans from the UCC! (http://stillspeaking.com)
I'm not sure if the religious right will appreciate that.
Total early Alzheimer's. Haven't you seen the video?

Ironic to say the least that he's so anti-stem cell research. The proverbial chicken roosting.
The Unicode Separatist Jihad demands international recognition for ™, ¼ and Φ.
Give the guy a break. We all do these things.
When he said "comma", he meant "footnote".
When he said "Iran", he meant "Iraq."
And when he said, "Iraq", he meant "Syria."
Its pretty clear that he meant to say "footnote" instead of "comma", once you de-W his notoriously poor vocabulary.
Footnote is, of course, only more insulting to the families of the dead. Perhaps burbling "comma" was the result of some shred of self-awareness editing the word before it left his piehole.
"Comma" is Texan for "comment". The natural slur by our Lieder.
After a good two weeks of bragging about being the first reviewers to test the God|Jesus|fuckme|iPhone, at least WSJ's Walt Mossberg and the NYT's David Pogue had the courtesy to post decent video reviews.
