Alito Hearings Start Today

Because there hasn’t been a lame protest in Washington for weeks now, the wise hands on the Senate Judiciary Committee start confirmation hearings for Samuel Alito today. It’s already close to 60 degrees outside and I heard something about the balance of the Supreme Court being at stake. Then again, it’s Monday and the hearings start at 11:30am. Combining the passions of both Alito’s supporter and detractors, we could be looking at a critical mass gathering approaching 50 people. But I’ve always been an optimist.
Remember when you actually cared about SCOTUS picks? Nah, neither do I.
