While Democrats and Republicans on the Hill continue their “Yeah but now I’m against it” routine, Texas Congressman Ron Paul doesn’t have to issue any apologies. He was always against the invasion and occupation of Iraq, and he’s running for president.
Paul is a libertarian Republican who constantly enrages the GOP because he actually believes in a small federal government and sound fiscal policies. He’s anti-death penalty, anti-drug laws, anti-police state, anti-Patriot Act and anti-anything that’s not authorized by the Constitution. Texas Dems now love him for his “principled anti-war stance,” while pro-abortion voters don’t need to worry about the obstetrician/gynecologist’s strong pro-life stance — he knows the federal government has no right to get involved in such stuff. And as California just proved, states can figure out universal health care and global-warming rules while the federal government can’t do anything.
In 1988, Paul got the third-most votes after Bush 41 and Dukakis. It was only 0.5%, but still! Plus, Ron Paul writes a great column and goes on the Alex Jones show now and then and freaks out everybody.
Antiwar Republican Congressman Ron Paul is Running for President! [Anti-War]

I could never vote for a man with two first names.
Do a bit more googling before you decide you like this guy.
to quote your sports-obsessed cousin Desdspin, "run, you stupid fucking dinosaur, run!"
I'd totaly vote for that fat little porn star... oh wait... no, that's the other guy with two first names, the first of which is "Ron."
Uhhh, before you get too excited about this freak, Ron Paul was the only member of Congress to vote against giving the Congressional Medal of Freedom to Rosa Parks. And this was in the '90s. Not the '50s.
Not to mention he was the sole vote against Congress recognizing Charles Schultz for his contributions to America. Note: CHARLES, not George, SCHULTZ. Like the cartoonist who created Snoopy.
How can you be against Rosa Parks AND Snoopy??
Oh, he also voted against Congress honoring the Pope and Mother Teresa, which I'm sure made Christopher Hitchens very happy.
I keep confusing this guy with that Tall Black Transvestite.
I wonder if this was written by the Libertarian on the Wonkette staff?
I'd like to ask each of those leaving a comment above if they have even heard of, let alone understand, the principle of enumerated and delegated powers and the meaning of the Tenth Amendment. Do we need more evidence of the failure of public schools than the ignorance displayed above?
Rock on, Wonkette!
I'm sure that this is going to inflame more than a few people reading this, but let's face it- The libertarian candidate is NOT going to win the presidentacy in 2008. The only choice of who will win is between a Democract and a Republican. Now that we have established that doesn't it make sense to get the most pro-freedom, pro-liberty candidate that we can reasonably get elected? If by some small miracle Ron Paul does get nominated, I call on the Libertarian Party to drop their candidate and support Paul. This may be the last chance that this country has to stop in it's tracks the socialist slide to a dictatorship.
Yes SanFranLefty, Ron Paul voted against the Congressional Medal of Freedom for Rosa Parks. Had you been honest in your posting (and not looking to manipulate opinion with selective facts), you'd have also mentioned that he has voted against EVERY awarding of the Congressional Medal of Freedom as he believes it to be out of the scope and authority of Congress to issue such medals.
He wasn't voting against Parks. He was voting against the very idea of a Congressional Medal of Freedom.
Sounds a little different when the proper context is added, don't it? Of course, full disclosure of WHY he voted that way would be the honest thing to do. Can't have that now, can we...
You can Google Ron Paul all you want but every article, blog post or web page you find will tell you the same thing. That Dr. Paul is the only elected member of the federal government that votes according to his oath of office and not according to party affiliation, lobby dollars or public opinion. He votes according to the U.S. Constitution and that's the end of it.
The worst thing SanFranLefty could say about him was that he didn't vote to give a Congressional Medal of Freedom to Rosa Parks, the Pope or Mother Teresa. SanFranLefty forgot to mention (or doesn't know) that Paul has voted against giving a Congressional Medal of Freedom every time it has come up. This is because the Constitution does not authorize the federal government to appropriate tax funds to honor anyone with a Congressional Medal. Any elected member of the House or Senate that voted to give a Congressional Medal to anyone, voted for something unconstitutional and violated their oath of office. SanFranLefty also didn't mention (or didn't know) that when Ron Paul voted against giving these medals, he also stood up before the House and offered to contribute his own money to finance medals to honor Mother Theresa, Pope John Paul, Rosa Parks, etc. and asked other members to contribute as well.
To say (however sarcastically) that Paul is "against Rosa Parks AND Snoopy" because he wouldn't violate the law he swore to uphold is a blatantly false statement. If he was against honoring Rosa Parks, I doubt he would have offered to help privately fund the medal with his own money. To be accurate, SanFranLefty's statement should read "How can you be against voting for an unconstitutional bill??" and hopefully you don't need an answer to that.
When I read a statement like SanFranLefty's, I always wonder if the person writing disagrees with the Constitution or just doesn't know what it says. We have every right to disagree with the Constitution but there's a process to deal with that. That process involves amending the Constitution, not ignoring it. I also wonder who SFL thinks would be a better option for president.
Here's the text of the 10th amendment for all you wankers:
Amendment X
Congress shall neither honor nor recognize that uppity negress Rosa Parks with any award, medal or commendation. The same shall be said for Charles Schulz. Though he be not an uppity negress, congress shall nonetheless refrain from recogizing him, as he is a punk ass bitch.
How can you be against Rosa Parks AND Snoopy??
Libertarians are anti-everything. They don't think the federal gov should be involved in too much stupid shit like giving out awards and such. I'm pretty much in agreement there.
"..governs best that governs least" etc, etc.
There's a lot to said for that philosophy though it tends not work as society gets more crowded and complex.
And alas, most Libertarians I know don't really mean what they say, or don't even understand it.
lascauxcaveman, that's because the libertarians you know are fools. I never could understand how someone could vote for a Republicrat knowing everything they stand for is against the constitution. Just because Libertarians aren't afraid of Freedom doesn't mean we should be discounted. Democrats are afraid to stand on their own two feet, which is why they tax the middle class to support the poor. Plus, once someone is on welfare they tend to stay there so they always vote Democrat. Republicans on the other hand have no morals of their own. They simply pull them out of an ancient book that is far past it's usefulness. If the book says it's bad everyone should be forced to agree, if the book says it's good then everyone should be forced to agree. They are as scared of freedom as liberals. To top it off now most of the citizens are scared of terrorists. We've been raised to fear everything and everyone, and we've been raised to fear nothing more then our own Freedom. As you see when you read above.
O So we vote against a man who believes in individual liberty, less government, less taxes and the IRS, the farce in Iraq and the fallacious drug war, the police state and the welfare state, and a man who has stood against party politics from the dems and the repubs all because he did not give a merit badge to Rosa Parks??? I was seriously considering a run for President as a Libertarian, but now I will give Ron Paul my full and complete support!
Sheriff Richard Mack (ret)
Hillary and Clinton are two first names, also!
Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians: These are meaningless labels, acting to provoke reflex and displace critical thought. In selecting a leader, what matters are his record of actions and their consequences. Ron Paul is well known to be the only member of congress that consistently votes his principals without compromise. His actions and their consequences have always promoted the rights of the individual and opposed tyranny. I urge you to read your Constitution, just once. It takes about 45 minutes and you don't have to be a constitutional scholar to understand it. The language and intent are quite plain. And when you step into the voting booth, just measure your choices against this ultimate yardstick.
People like Ron are the only hope for saving the freedoms america was founded on. It unfortunate that most americans are too stupid and afraid for progress ever to be made. I'll still vote for them , however, because I know a vote for the usual democrats or republicans is a wasted vote for the "leadership by corportations" that we have today.
MrConstitution, thanks for putting SanFranLefty in his ignorant place. Down with snoopy ! (jk)
I agree with you Rocketman2: If the Libertarian Party truly is a political party dedicated to promoting liberty, they will put their support behind Ron Paul. It's all very unlikely but just the fact that he is attempting this, shows there is a glimmer of hope in this backwards country.
And to all those people claiming that he is "against" Rosa Parks, etc: you are grossly misinterpreting his actions. He is not against these people; he is against sticking his hand in your pocket, against your will, to confiscate your money, in order to pay for awards and ceremonies that are not within the bounds of the constitution for a very good reason.
Do not pay attention to people who violently call down Ron Paul because they are government paid propaganda bloggers meant to spread lies. You know Bush set aside $1.6 billion just for jackasses like these tards who go on here trying to stifle freedom and liberty. RON PAUL for PRESIDENT! And damn all you people who call him down so rudely. You will not get anything from the neo cons in the end but enslavement. Shame on you for spurting lies against the only true libertarian in the Republican party.
I'm sold. Ron Paul for President!
I have been a yellow dog Democrat all my life, but I think I am convinced to vote Republican for the first time. This guy sounds like a true, intelligent saint! Sojournors needs to get behind him.
May YHWH bless his run and prevent the shadow gov't from manipulating the polls against him.
I believe that if Congressman Ron Paul runs for President, using the platform of constitutional principles, of honesty, and integrity-all the values that made America great in the first place-that even though he will probably lose the campaign, people will be powerfully reminded of these principles by his audacity. And with that reminder, I believe they'll vote for better candidates in every elective position, from Podunk to Washington.
I will vote for Ron Paul and I would think Americans would be more concerned with other important issues rather than who got a medal. ??? One of my biggest concerns is Schumer's and other demoncrats plan to control Americans with his stupid idea to give every working American a card that has a chip in it where it has the holders retina scanned. This is his idea of how to control illegal immigration. Why does the American worker need such a card if it's meant to control illegals?
Yet he keeps getting elected after his great rfid chip in drivers license idea.
Ron Paul would never accept this. He will get my vote. I don't need to be tracked Mr. Schumer, Boxer, Peloski, Reid.
It's pretty sad to see why Americans say they would never vote for someone because of their name. I just have to shake my head at the intelligence level of some.
Ron Paul actually put up $100 of his own money to give Rosa Parks the congressional medal of honor and urged his fellow congressman to do the same noting that its much easier to spend money that is not yours. Of course none of his colleagues took him up on his offer because they would rather spend tax payer money than their own money. Thats what really happened. Hes not against Rosa Parks. I provided links where you can check out the facts.

I am just wondering, when will the americans here EVER learn it is NOT "Right Vs Left", but RIGHT VS WRONG!!!!. I think that most would have seen that by now. Especially after one would read Henery Kissenger's NSSM200 (National Security Study memorandum 200) it is in a .pdf format, the following is a link to it, http://www.lifesite.net/waronfamily/nssm200/nssm200.pdf It has to do with what is called "Population Control" (after all for those that control the food, control the people) I am just saying, read it for yourself. Do you think that Ron Paul would vote for something like that? NO!!!! Let me put it this way, if we all do not hang TOGETHER, we will hang SEPERATELY!!!!! Because if one looks at voting records for senate and reps either democratic and or republican, see how many of those voting records are almost identical. For Ron Paul as far as I seen has been the ONLY one whos votes are compliant with constitutionality, instead of "CORPORATE POLICY" which is nothing more than concern for the fiat currency that devalues more and more each day in their pockets!!!!! After all, how much do we make compared to them? I know that there are some of us that can not afford to live in that "Posh lifestyle" Not that I do not agree that someone should have to ability to earn extra money, but compared to the "well gaining" ones from there, it is NOTHING more than a trickle in a pail. As for the so-called "middle class" that is slowly being phased out if no one has noticed. What ever happened to the days where it would be just the guy having gainful employment of where he could afford to provide for not just for the family, but himself also? and the biggest worry would be a hole in the roof of the house? Nowdays, it takes both the man and the lady of the house just enough to afford the bills and put food on the table. For those days are slim to none, and is briskly going to the bus stop, all because of "CORPORATE POLICY" bankrupting everyone Also, where are americans goning to learn that this is a Constitutionally limited Republic and NOT a democracy? A Constitutional Republic is the HIGHEST form of government and a Democracy is the LOWEST form of government (mob rule). I just wish that those that do not realize it, would. For the only chance that we would have to change this "NIGHTMARE" would be to elect Ron Paul and work with him and each other more feverishly and continuously to change it. I KNOW that it would NOT happen "OVERNIGHT". But with time, it WOULD be a START!!! I also wanted to mention thank you to "Meepy" on here for mentioning YHWH (THE CREATOR) for not to many mention his name (YHWH) that is. I just wish that more could remember his name. I also wanted to say a big hi to sheriffmack and it is great to hear from him again and wish that there were more officers like him and Jack McLamb around. I know that we need more like them around. This country would be a somewhat of a better place. After all, I don't think that they would stop me in the middle of the night while I was going to get a pop at the pop machine to ask me where I was going and what I was doing, or being stopped being accused that I did not stop at a stop sign, of which I did a "car stop" is all. She pulled me over and told me that I did NOT stop, of which I said to her that I stopped just as good as the rest of the cars there did. I said, if she was going to pull me over. Then she would have to pull just about everyone over that was there, because they did NOT come to a full and complete stop. I also said to her, just to sit there and watch and see how many do, and in about an hour, she would fill a quota for a full month. Myself, being the nephew of a 30 year veteran of the police force, has some of idea of how everyhing is "twisted around" these days. Hopefully, Ron Paul could put an end to such stupidity that I had experienced. I KNOW that my vote is going to be for Ron Paul. Thank you for taking the time to read this message and may YHWH bless you all, regardless if you're view is agreeable or disagreeable with mine, for that IS part of America, FREEDOM of speech, The Right to disagree. Even though were are in danger of loosing that right as well, amongst other they have put the "Kaibosh" on. Please vot for Ron Paul for President before any more of our rights are infringed on so he can STOP it.
Whenever I see Ron Paul on CSPAN, it brings a tear to my eye. I get choked up watching and learning how we can be free, safe, and prosperous Americans. This is one of the most intelligent and patriotic Americans I have ever seen or heard. A look at his .gov web site will show bills that he has sponsored and cosponsored, but it does not fully do him justice. Watch him on CSPAN or find him on one of the user video content web sited (google, youtube, break, etc.)
All the research that I have done on Congressman Paul has been positive. I can't say that about any other politician. This guy is the real deal and will fight for the American people. If Ron Paul is given the opprotunity to serve this great country as our next President, he will go down in hsitory as one of the greatest Presidents. This is a man who stands for us, THE PEOPLE. We need to come together as one and educate America to who Ron Paul is. Let the people then decide for themselves. This is a man with no interests to corporate america, but to america alone. Support Ron Paul by telling people about him and what his goals are. He makes politics interesting again. Create the Buzz! RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT!!!
For the poster who bashed Ron Paul for voting against a medal for Rosa Parks and Charles Shultz: the medals were solid gold and came at a high expense. Ron Paul did not believe taxpayer money should be spent on it. BUT, he offered to contribute $100 of his own money for the medal, in each case, and challenged his colleagues in congress to do the same. Nobody took him up on the offer.
I will be voting for Ron Paul and contributing money to his campaign. Unfortunately, it will cost big bucks for this guy to even be heard in media.
If it wasn't for the internet we would have never heard about Ron Paul this early into the Presidential campaign.
If you want somebody like the average neighbor or friend instead of a politician, then I would advise checking out Ron Paul at www.ronpaul.org .
Well we put our money where our mouths were this past weekend in NH.
I hope you will too!
IF 1 MILLION PEOPLE EACH SEND $20.00, that's $20M dollars!

I lived in Texas and Ron Paul was our congressman for 20 years. Not ONE time has he ever deviated from the Constitution in a vote or philosophy. If all Congressional districts had this man or one like him for a Congressman we would have no problems with illigal immigration, the war in Iraq or intervening in anyone else's business while we neglect our own. We also wouldn't be in mess we are in with the Federal Reserve money and the Gold Standard.
For many years he has sponsored legislation, which neither Democrates or Republicans will sign on to, which would require the Constitutional authority of any bill before it was introduced. Novel idea don't you think?
This man is the REAL DEAL. Although I have long left a Party who believes that support of the "Party" is more important than support of the Consistution, I plan to be voting Republican for Ron Paul and doing everything else I can do to get him elected. I would encourage all of you other "Party" people (regardless of which one) to do the same.
If any of you have any questions on how he votes, go to his website and he will explain to you why and what Consitutional basis he had for his actions.
You ROCK Rockette and thanks for the post.
OMG... I so happy to hear that a TRUE patriot has put his hat in this race. I am switching over to the Republican party for this man.
He is the only one who has the guts to take LIVE - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHxQGSiuLf4 calls! What does he get for the 'brave' deed. Absolutely nothing! In fact, as I was watching the news they have consistently mentioned that there is only one anti-war candidate in the race (this includes after he declared he was running), yet not only does Ron say his against the war, he proved it by not voting for it. Chances are slim for Ron, however I strongly believe Ron has a 'fighting' chance!
Ron Paul has a unique political perspective among both the Republicans and the Libertarians. He would bring real political change to Washington D.C. if elected.
I volunteered for his campaign today at 1-800-Ron-Paul.
A vote between most Democrat candidates and most Republican candidates is a choice for the lessor of two evils. Either way you are voting for evil. Ron Paul is the one honest one in the group. He has my vote.
By the way, there is another party that believes the way Ron Paul believes, the Constitution Party. It upholds the Constitutional Law of the land that made our country free.
On the congressional medal of honor post, here are the facts.
Ron Paul believes Government doesn't have Constitutional authority to hand out medals with taxpayer funds.
However he did offer to pony up his own money and challanged the rest of his Congressional colleagues to do the same. Guess what Congress thought the poor working taxpayers should foot the bill while they make themselves look righteous and not racist.
No Ron is not your average break the law, break the oath of office candidate.
If you want the same old same old spend trillions do nothing good congress and president then vote for anyone but Ron Paul.
Ron Paul is a modern day Davy Crockett.
I'll be voting for him.
America is being swept rapidly down the river in a Mainstream leading to a precipitous and lethal waterfall. Maybe we need a president like Mr. Paul who is far enough out of that deadly central current to get the country safely onto the bank of solid Constitutional ground before the United States goes over the edge into national oblivion.
UPDATE: RON PAUL
The Constitution Party is polling for a Presidential Candidate on their website.
Ron Paul is being considered for a candidate.
If you support Ron Paul go to their website and vote for him as their candidate for 2008.
www.constitutionparty.org
Give liberty a chance.
I just came across your site while googleing for Ron Paul.I am very impressed by both the quality and scope of the comments on the well written article on Ron.
I have read most of what he has written and seen almost all of the video available on the net. I haven't found one example of hypocrisy.I couldn't believe it, a politician that isn't a lier.
I couldn't believe the emotions I felt every time I heard him speak. In my mind I was hooting and saying right on.
I am not what you would call a political being. I have never donated to a political party or campaigned for anyone. That has all changed now. I am actually excited about the chance to work for Dr. Ron and I donated $100 to his campaign.
I try to spend 2 hours a day on the internet doing what I am doing right now. Trying to get the word out to everyone about what is probably our last chance to take this country back from the "bankers and the corporations that grew around them".
Mainstream media will do everything it can to keep him from getting elected. Has anyone noticed that MSNBC ignored there own poll and declared someone other than the winner, Dr. Ron Paul, as there appointed winner of the debate. I emailed and told them what I thought about there biased reporting and the biased way they ran the nondebate.
I would like to see something like American idol as a format for elections. There is over a year till the next election. That is plenty of time to hear exactly what every politician thinks about every issue. I believe Ron got about 7 minutes during the debate to try to get his point across.
I don't think it is going to happen so I am putting a new color cartridge in my printer and printing up some fliers to hand out at the stop sign going into the local Walmart. I need two more dedicated people so we can cover all the stop signs at the entrance. I belong to Yahoo group for Ron Paul and hope I get some help from there.
Please do everything that you can to get Ron Paul elected as president.
There is only a small percentage of eligible voters that get up off there lazy butts and vote. If all of the people in the Constitutional party and the Libertarian party registered republican it would only take a few more people to take over the Republican party and make it our own. The primaries have a very low turnout. Just a few people could make a big difference.
God bless Dr. Ron Paul
Joseph Bergrath
Ron Paul's principles are sound but I concerned with his references to the US Constitution as if it were a flawless legal document. It is not the Constitution but the principles it ought to embrace that should be our concern. Sometime, however, that legal document goes astray, as with the commerce clause or, earlier, authorizing Southern slavery.
"A flawless legal document" of which the president of the United States of America takes a sworn oath to uphold.
Personally, I would much rather have a man who has devoted his public life to upholding our Constitution than a man who states "it's just a goddamn piece of paper."
Ron Paul for President 2008. Pass it on.
Mr. Paul is the last of a dying breed, a pleasantly painful reminder of what the Republic was like......before the dark times, before the Empire....
His party hates him because of his devotion to principle and the oath he has taken, to which he replies "...YOUR new empire? My allegiance is to the Republic!! To democracy!!"
If you cannot vote for Ron Paul because he has "two first names" or because he is "anti-snoopy" or "anti-rosa parks", then the Emperor has already won. He is our last hope.
The elites in this country see his astounding performance in the debates and declare "Mr. Paul....you survived."
Paul states calmly "I hear a new fiat currency, you have, Emperor...or should I call you Darth Socialist. If so powerful you are, why try to marginalize my participation? At an end your rule is, and not short enough it was"
Truly, mark my words the fate of the galaxy...er..America hangs in the balance. Ron Paul is truly the last Jedi.
A Knight of the Old Republic.
Don't get me wrong, I am voting for Ron Paul....but his views on immigration aren't exactly libertarian, and for someone who is otherwise so good at keeping federal expenses in line, his support of rounding up and kicking out 'illegal' aliens won't exactly come cheap to US taxpayers...it'll be a helluva lot more than those goofy congressional medals...
Check out my new Ron Paul video at

Feel free to copy it to your own site if you like it.
Ron Paul is the last hope we have in America to restore faith in the dollar and rectify what we stand for. America was a tower of power standing tall and proud. We have sold out as fiscal conservatives and allowed foreigners to hold huge amounts of our debt. We had 20T in debt in the year 2000. As of our last audit on September 2006, our debt stands at 50T. No politician talks about "who will pay any more". We seem to think we can bankrupt America and ultimately monetize our debt ala the Wimar Republic. We need more people to step up and support Ron Paul and rise up to stand with him.
Hellooooooooo;
Are you seriously telling me that you would not vote for a guy b/c he is against medals of honor for snoopy? I think you are the ones who need to do some more googling, people. These medals are a load of malarky, like the oscars, emmys and everything else, designed to distract us and/or create the 'illusion of patriotism'. Gee,we're all americans and we all love rosa parks. Paul's stance is NOT saying that these people's contributions are not important. He IS saying that anything not regarded as essential by the constitution does not belong in the federal government's budget. duh. We are meant to be a constitutional republic, not a bunch of anesthetized media addicts who cannot think for ourselves and need a sappy gathering to honor someone's art. There are tons of great artists out there. Create your own medal. In any case, there can be private, corporate or non-profit sponsored medals of accomplishment for this sort of thing. This is a 'civic' achievement and recognition should come from here, not from big brother. Constitutional republic is the only sane way to run a huge country-it means we all not only have a voice, but actually have to be awake enough to be responsible for our lives. It may not sound like fun (ie,hard work),but it's alot better than detention camps and ID cards. Oh,and i've only voted democratic my whole life and would be considered your new age hippie international we're all one type of gal. And this new world order is a little too close for comfort for me. Ron Paul '08. Woo hoo!

More Grassroot support for Ron Paul!
I was going to say something about how catchy
"Where were you when I needed you was" but then
I thought no one would get it so I decided not to.
Anyway, I thought it was interesting what Bill Dumas had to say.
What People Have to Say About Ron Paul
I have usually voted along Republican lines even though my mind is with the Libertarian philosophy. I admit to being hopeful for Steve Forbes the time he ran and even hoped he would make some people change. I didn't know about Ron Paul until a few weeks ago and I have already sent money. He believes as I do in that I think he also feels that the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the US are the only sacred things humans have ever created.
More power to Ron Paul, not the lesser evil.
Ron Paul wasn't against Rosa Parks. He also voted against giving a medal to Ronald Reagan. He does not think the Constitution gives the Congress the authority to use yours and my tax dollars to bestow medals on other people.
Instead, he offered up the first $100 and suggested that the other members of the House do likewise, so that the medal could be purchased by them. In other words, put your money where your mouth is. Not surprisingly, no one took him up on the offer, as the other members of Congress seem to be much more comfortable with spending someone else's money other than their own.
Here's something for you to watch and hopefully you will start to understand the integrity and honor that this man has.
After hearing these sincere endorsements, I just don't see how anyone could be against Ru Paul in 2008.
I wish I was American just so I could give this man my vote. His weapon is truth and integrity.
Ron Paul is a very effective man. He's very intelligent for the people of America and for me to say that is something because I'm not the brightest person on the block or I'm a Republican. Ron Paul voted against Rosa Parks not because he's a mean guy. He took yet another stand. Each tax payer has to pay for her medal of honor if voted "yes". He suggested that each Congress member pay $100 for it and not tax the American people for it. We have the same consistent problems. Everyone's following each other in this huge ugly hamster wheel. We can't get out of the trap. We are faced with tough financial times. People are suffering and barely getting any support from our Government. At least there is one guy who knows how a good majority of us can't sleep at night because the American dream is being destroyed. He has values and that's all I'm going to say.
Supporters of Ron Paul for President 2008.
