Remainders: Not About the Ports (We Promise)
- It’s too bad that this NYP Tammy/Tammy NYP character — the 17-year-old Singapore schoolgirl who recorded a homemade sex video on her cell phone, which then got stolen (and the rest is history) — wasn’t a Capitol Hill or White House intern. Searches for her sex video have been straddling the top of Technorati for days. [Dream Logic; Technorati]
- Avian flu? What a joke! What we really need to worry about is “White House reporter syndrome.” (Actually, as bloggers, a lack of press credentials immunizes us against this dread disease.) [NRO; NYT]
- Malcolm Gladwell now has a blog. [gladwell.com via Gawker]
- Michelle Malkin hearts Huckabee (for the most part). [Michelle Malkin]
- Okay, we lied, this last item is somewhat related to the Dubai ports controversy: President Bush’s approval rating has reached an all-time low of 34 percent. [CBS News via Daily Kos]

I haven't seen it, so maybe my question reflects my ignorance, but what is the big deal about this NYP Tammy/Tammy NYP sex video? Lots of people make their own sex tapes. And unlike other people whose sex videos turned into scandals -- Rob Lowe, Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, etc. -- this Tammy chick isn't even famous. So why do we care?

The funniest thing about the approval ratings is the fact that good ol' Dick is enjoying an 18% approval rating. How is that even possible? I almost feel bad for the guy, but then again he did shoot his friend in the face. LOL

The Republicans are absolutly correct. Big government cannot do anything well. About the Defense Department, either big gevenrment cannot do anythin well, or our 2 million people-in-arms are well led and executing correcctly. Which is it I wonder? Lets check a few of wars, WWII (win, late start), Korea (Stalemate), Vietnam (Loss), Lebanon (Loss), Panama (Win), Haiti (Win), Afganistan (Stalemate), Al Quaeda (Can't find them, loss), Iraq (loss?) - score 3 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses. C- or D+?

What's this? President Bush has sold Dubai to a company run by Malcom Gladwell and Michelle Malkin, which markets incredibly unpopular illegal pornography to victims of an imaginary flu?
Wow. What a newsday!
