They’ve got their legal defense offense website up and running too — not bad, very classy. But their lengthy George H. W. Bush blurb doesn’t hold a candle to the pithy, film poster-ready Cheney quote that tops Scooter’s.

Okay, lemme get this straight:
Public officials, federal employees, fuck up. Then they expect other people to donate to a legal fund?
Is this something anybody can do?
Say, next time I get a tossed in jail for punching an undercover vice cop in the nose during a raid at Ms. TuKan-Chews Massage Parlor and Bakery (just, to pull an example out of thin air), can I just ask for everyone to toss money my way and expect it to happen?

Since we all know that we're trackin' the cash - damn you New York Times - can somebody check in with their offshore account? How big was the check from the DNC for the Plames to go ahead with this lawsuit?
