Immigration Protests: The Sound and the Fury
Via Miscellaneous Objections, here are two videos of immigration protestors and counter-protestors mixing it up in midtown Manhattan.
In the first, a scrappy little guy in a yellow T-shirt takes on a really big dude with a long braid in his hair:
In the second, a man plaintively plays the national anthem on the trumpet, while protesters yell their heads off at each other.
Isn’t this a great country?

hm. I'm a "liberal," but um..flooding another country illegally because you don't like your own government's policies seems kind of...stupid? Mexican people and American people have a different standard of living, but does that mean we apologize and give everything away, and repeal our immigration laws?
Letting people flood our borders, without any knowledge of their pasts (serial killers? rapists? thieves?) is a stupid thing to do. The 400,000 condo I live in apparently was built by more than a couple illegals; they got paid a much lower wage, but the builder still charged an exorbitant amount.
The only party profiting off of illegals are American businesses; exploiting these poor people, but hurting their own country in the end.
There is no excuse for the millions of illegal immigrants, mexican, or otherwise breaking the law in America.
