You forgot to allow for the significant percentage of respondents who skipped home school class the day they taught readin'. They all would have answered "yes" had they only recognized the squiggles on the page.

Well, the president tells me that in order to be a patriot, I have to agree with the mindless, breast-thumping, jingoistic, xenophobic, end-times-believing, unilateralist group of mind-numbed incompetents that run the show in the White House, and I now don't like the White House, I guess that means I am forced to be a non-Patriot. You'd be surprised at how many folks in Rural East Texas either fly their Stars and Bars on the trailer porch or use that banner as the curtain for the window that faces the County Road.

Then again, maybe you wouldn't be all that surprised.
