2nd Amendment twice as good as 1st Amendment
Ohio governor and constitutional scholar John Kasich has rejected a police union's request to ban open gun carry in Cleveland in the midst of Republican National Convention protests, because what's the worst that could happen? Besides, his hands are tied by Ohio law, and what's the big emergency, Kasich wants to know?
Umbrellas with metal tips, meanwhile, remain banned by the city of Cleveland in the 1.7-square-mile "event zone" around the Quicken Loans Arena, along with tennis balls, Christmas ornaments and sleeping bags.
A few gun humpers are already swaggering around Cleveland toting AR-15s , and while that could never possibly lead to trouble in the context of a political protest, the head of the Cleveland police union whined to Kasich that police want a gun-free safe space, like a bunch of liberal pussy college kids.
In a statement, Kasich told them to fuck right off, gun grabbers, because constitution. Ohio law permits open carry of guns, and bans cities from having their own gun laws, as the good Lord and the American Legislative Exchange Council willed it.
“Ohio governors do not have the power to arbitrarily suspend federal and state constitutional rights or state laws as suggested,” Ms. Kalmbach said. “The bonds between our communities and police must be reset and rebuilt – as we’re doing in Ohio – so our communities and officers can both be safe. Everyone has an important role to play in that renewal.”
Guess Cleveland will just have to suck it up. Evan and errbody else, be careful out there.

But what if the umbrella IS a gun?
He has the right to speak to a tourney.
