Pluto-murderer, Jesus-defamer, and notorious science-doer Neil deGrasse Tyson put on his troll hat again the other day, and displeased some parts of the Twitterverse with a terrible horrible unpatriotic parody of the Pledge of Allegiance:
Reaction was swift and, in some cases, quite tetchy! Several people told him he needs to stick to science, because he is only supposed to do science, and who does he think he is, anyway? (Honestly, we don't think it's his best work, really.) For the most part, critics played the Love It Or Leave It card:
Although a few also took issue with Tyson's unspecified "junk science" and "lies" -- we're guessing climate change, prolly:
And then there was this non sequitur puzzler from "Progressives Today," the snotty little brother to Gateway Pundit, both run by the Former Stupidest Man on the Internet:
The link is to a YouTube montage of Barack Obama's infamous "if you like your plan you can keep it" line, which proves that ... um, Neil deGrasse Tyson is a lying liar about science because Barack Obama taped an introduction to the first episode of the Cosmos reboot, and so don't believe Tyson's science lies either? Good one!
Oh, and just like Obama took away everyone's health insurance, Tyson helped take away everyone's Solar System! That must be it!

I might be "black", because my ancestry is pretty sketchy. Indian, too. I might have been 3/5 of a person, or none at all.
Yeah, the '00s pretty much did that in.
