Washingtonienne: Not Fired, Gone Monkeyfishing?

A pretty significant detail in the Washingtonienne saga has fallen through. A tipster wrote us to point out that DeWine chief of staff Pressler couldn’t have fired anyone yesterday– she wasn’t in the office. Says the tipster: “DeWine staffers say this is bs, Pressler’s been in scenic Columbus all week.”

We would be happy to learn that we did not play a part in getting someone fired, though chagrinned to have been taken in, natch. But can you blame us? She was all about the ass-fucking. We couldn’t resist.
