Part of me gives full credit to Obama to wade into this and even thinks it’s a good idea as his serene, calm, Hopeyness will make the protesters seem that much more unhinged. The other part of me is scared shitless.
I was talking to someone at my usual watering hole last night and she had completely bought into the 9/11 truther thing. I was working on that bit of craziness when she said, “But what about the FEMA camps? I’ve seen pictures,” and then related this to health care. Because, I suppose, the folks awaiting euthanasia will have to be housed somewhere, right? Anyway, it only reinforces my theory that crazy is like jelly in a PBJ — you can mash it down, but it’ll just squirt out the sides.
Ahem. So, how do I score some of that Canada City Hillbilly Smack? Just curious, the brownstone here upsets my stomach,
I’m normally all about paying my taxes cause I like things like roads and stuff, but I seriously am fucking done with this ignorant trash showing up to grandstand while screaming inanities about keeping our government out of their Medicare. Seriously. Done. I want to strip each and every one of them of every socialized benefit they unknowingly receive and then tell them “keep your hands out of my paycheck!” when they have their collective Abe Simpson “look what happened to me without my pills!” moment.
They are all walking, barely coherent exemplars of the nadir of American democracy. The first democratic congressman who truly stands up and lays an educated smack down on these jibbering, bemulleted thugs will be my hero for life. I will move to their district just to continue to vote for that person.
