- FBI RAIDS OFFICE OF OBAMA COMPUTERBOT NOMINEE: Vivek Kundra was nominated to be the government’s first ever Chief Information Officer a few weeks ago, and everybody was all “Hooray!” because he was going to switch the entire federal government over to Gmail, for free, and give every employee a share of those sweet Google Adsense dollars. But now the FBI has raided his office — the one he had while he was running computers for the city of DC — and nobody knows why, part of an ongoing investigation, etc. etc. We have a hunch, though, that it might have something to do with an information systems security officer in the DC government getting arrested in a bribery sting this morning. Your “arrested in a bribery sting” embedded link doesn’t work…
Now we know how the information from Norm Coleman’s donors was made public.
Geez, all the trouble we’re having with technology these days. Michael Steele is “…a sleeper agent robot hybrid designed by Rahm Emanuel…” and now this. Why don’t we just go back to writing in the sand with sticks, as John McCain said we should?
Not kiddie porn? Huh. It’s Washington right?
Thank you for not linking to the fat, weird-looking guy’s blurb about this at politico, where there are already almost 300 comments, all about how the “SS Obama is sinking” and “these clowns can’t do anything right.” It’s almost like the last 8 years didn’t happen in whatever fairyland these assfaces live in. Though I must keep repeating to myself…the republican party will be destroyed by demographics alone…the republican party will be destroyed by demographics alone. It helps me sleep at night.
href, not rhef, SKS!
I wonder how much furry porn they’ll find. I think it should all be released to the public. Time to submit a Freedom of Information request. For America!
Someone has a job with bribery benefits? The economy is looking up!
It’s a DC gov’t scandal at the heart of it. I predict it will involve cronyism, limited edition Louis Vuitton bags, and at least one personal shopper at Mazza Gallerie.
hobospacejungle: WORD.
Obama really has brought change to Washington. Republicans get promoted for this sort of thing.
This is just the kind of reassurance competent IT professionals who were considering government service were looking for.
Isn’t he from Tanzania or somesuch place in India? Obviously, he’s a Muslin terrorist like Barry.
Go easy, it’s early, the time just changed, and SKS is my hero.

Nice to see there still one federal agency that still reports to Cheney.
hobospacejungle: It’s the new found ethical standards of the wingnuts at play. Before Jan. 20th they were able to overlook such piddling trivialities as torture, gross mismanagement of the war(s), and a complete lack of economic leadership.
Magically, after Jan. 20th, they have become the moral watchdogs of the country. It’s an amazing transformation rivaled only by the conversion of Bristol Palin from teen strumpet into sainted mother-to-be.
hobospacejungle: I don’t even do that, I just go “lol internet” and remember that in real life, people are giving hopey some time to figure this shit out.
Somehow this will reveal itself to be part of Blago’s taint.

Is bribery the axle grease of every Indian 8(a)s?
This is the sorta shit that happens when you don’t pay taxes on your bribes.
When will the Obama people ever learn?
Can’t he just use that whole “executive privilege” thing that was so popular for that last several years?
Today we are all l33t h4×0Rz.
TGY: Dude, nice Hacker slang.
WTOP - “Kundra has not been linked to Thursday’s raid”
….YET….
Thank Ben Smith for creating an all-u-can-eat PUMA buffet of horseshit.
I sent email to Smith recommending him put up a Drudge-like siren on his blog.
How about some thoughtful analysis on the issue. As the following article discusses, many of the policies Vivek Kundra enacted contributed to exposing the corruption in DC: http://techdailydose.nationaljournal.com/2009/03/kundras-it-policies-might-have.php
