God, I so wish I could be in the audience during the Vice Presidential debate and get picked to ask a question. I think it’d go something like this: “Mrs. Governess Palin. As you know, the Presidency places tremendous demands upon the office holder and requires a tremendous commitment of time and energy. That being said, if elected, will you pledge not to have any more babies while in office?”
Maybe they’re those low-information voters we’re hearing so much about. I bet they’ll get on board with the ticket after they see Gov. Palin dancing with Ellen.
A couple years ago Ted Stevens’ son, Ben, who, like his dad, has been under investigation (he was senate president in AK) called the people who live in Wasilla and Palmer (another hick town) “Valley Trash”. It was quite a hoot. The “Valley” is the Matanuska Valley, legendary for Matanuska Thunderfuck, once reputed to be the most potent pot grown in the U.S. If Palin never got high it’s only because she lived upwind of all the dopers.

I try it regularly since the cops are all on vacation or in a 300 mile tailback on the Bay Bridge trying to get to the mythical Land of the Beach.
