Various old senators wandering around one night last week agreed by “voice vote” to privatize all the “food” service, ending what Sen. Damn, We need to buck up here in SF and get rid of that cranky old lady. I mean even if she gets her way, it’s not like she’ll turn the Senate cafe into someplace worthwhile — with her Pacific Heights old ladyism it’ll be more Boulevard than Delfina and more Ruth Cris than Salt House. Lame old people food any way you cook it. I remember when I was a lowly GS 7 and we enjoyed Navy bean soup day dammit, at least it had history.
