If Hillary Clinton loses the North Carolina primary by less than 15 points, it's basically a win. And if she wins Indiana by a single pledged delegate, that is also a win. Both of these predictions may soon come true! According to new projections by Congressional Quarterly, Clinton will win Indiana in a squeaker — getting 24 district-level delegates to Obama's 23 — even if she really wins it by up to 6% of the popular vote. Or something. Math is hard!
CQ's blow-by-blow projection looks at every district race and concludes that this race is tighter than a bull's ass in fly season, but no matter what happens, Clinton will win and Obama will lose. This ensures that the Democratic nominee will be determined as the Framers intended it: by the proud residents of South Dakota.

If she loses NC by 15 points it's a win? Says who? Sounds more like she got her ass handed to her.
@Pupster: It's called sarcasm...that's what we Obamaniacs were saying about PA...
depends on what your definition of a "vote" is
@Pupster: Says Clinton. Haven't you been paying attention? The Clintons are the boss of everybody and everything. All the time. Forever. Please somebody, help us...
...well I guess we know who the Super Delegates in the media will be endorsing!
Indiana is perilously close to joining the list of states who are dead to me. Make the right choice, Hoosiers. Make the right choice.
I need at least another hundred years of primaries before I can determine who I hate more. At one point, I liked both these fsckwads. Imagine that.
Don't worry, no matter who wins at this point, you will still lose your house to our banking overlords.
@Joe Dog: Can't try. Makes head hurt..
@Pupster: Rudy Giulianiamaclosetedgay.
I rather feel her delegate count is like the metric system, useless and confusing.
...can you imagine how ridiculous it would be if you applied this fukked up thought process to anything else?
-The '92 Dream Team really lost the Olympics because they had to actually step on the court and play, to beat the other teams.
-Mohammad Ali actually lost the "Rumble in the Jungle" because he didn't KO Foreman in the first round.
-The U.S. lost the cold war because instead of Nuking the Soviet Union into oblivion they just waited for it to collapse under its own weight.
Obama was running out the clock, so anything less than a "blowout" was a win. So, Hilly wins PA by 9 points and they call it a blowout.
Unless rabid dogs are eating Hillary's entrails in NC next Wednesday, she's going to be the next Democrat to lose in November. The media will set the parameters for a Hillary "win" based on how she actually performs.
Everyone is wrong.
Ron Paul will narrowly defeat Mike "I'm Still Alive?" Gravel by using the wings of a constitutional eagle.
Hillary isn't getting the 60% percent of the remaining superdelegates and she isn't going to win all the remaining states by 55% or more. If she could, she wouldn't be in the mess she's in now. Obama needs to start shifting focus to McCain and looking for good running mates and potential Cabinet members.
@Scott-san: I get the feeling you're right. They've had designs on this one since February and they're going to steal it for her.
That said, I'll sit this one out. Democratic party has made it plain where their loyalties lie, and it ain't with the people who fund it.
Okay, Barry. Now try that with a bowling ball.
Has Larry Bird's collegiate-to-early-pro peach fuzz mustache endorsed anyone yet? Is a French Lick like a Cleveland Steamer?
@squiggyfm: Yes! Fly little Ronny! Fly!
Tighter than a bull's ass in fly season? From which part of the South do you hail, Sara? I detect an essence of genteel, without the aftertaste of inbreeding.
BILLARY Clinton is pretty much out of it. She knows it, too.
@HowInsaneIsJohnMcCain: My parents live in Hoosierland and I have already warned them that if they do not vote for The Hope, they will not be able to see my young 'uns.
Threats can work!
@AngryBlakGuy: Frustrating how obvious this point is. You don't get the Superbowl trophy just for beating the spread!
Next thing you know it will be July and Hil-Rod will say Obama lost because he beat her by a smaller delegate margin than he should have, therefore crown me Queen of America.
Hey Sara K Smith and fellow wonketters, shouldn't we be talking about the next contest? Where is that polling data from Guam? I think that atoll/bombing range/guano heap in the South Pacific is Hillary's firewall. Storm the walls! Rock the Guamian Caucus for Hope, America!
Unless she wins by 59% in all remaining states, it's a loss. LOSE LOSE LOSE! It's the math thing. Numbahz, you know.
@CakeHate: Wait....Guam Arabic? Isn't that an Al-Qaida hotbed?
@CakeHate: Hillary will somehow manage to register the invasive brown tree snakes and convince them to vote for her, so Obama will lose.

Let's see... South Indiana=Kentucky and NC outside of The Triangle, The Triad, and Asheville=Tennessee, so if Barry loses it will prove that he still can't win the white states.- T. Mac
What happened to Hillary needing to win by at least 15 points in every remaining contest? She won in Pennsylvania by 9 and everyone acted like it was amazing, but last I checked she could keep winning every contest left by 9 and would still fall well short of Obama in pledged delegates. Why isn't anyone on her ass about the fact that it is becoming more and more mathmatically impossible for her to win?
@RebelliousRhino:
Maths isn't the MSM's friend (and it doesn't sell buzz, papers or eyeballs.)
Look at what the MSM has sold us over the years but never bothered to check out:
40% annual growth for internet stock
Tax cuts pay for themselves
Subprime mortgages are the greatest!
Iraqi Freedom will pay for itself
We only need 150K soldiers to occupy Iraq
@RebelliousRhino: I dunno. I still see a path to the nomination. It involves taking 866 delegates in Guam and 1,299 delegates in West Virginia after winning that state by 3,402 percentage points. Then you just have to take Obama's popular votes, assume that 89% of his votes are from black people, so multiply them by 3/5, and of course their votes don't count in the general, so screw it, let;'s just nominate Hillary now.
@CakeHate: Where did you get that information? You know too much.
@UnifiedStringCheeseTheory: I come from the part of the south that watches Deadwood.
@CakeHate: Oh course, how stupid of me, now that I hear you explain it it's so obvious.
