In many species there are no substitute pollinators for honeybees, so this could lead to some serious crop failures. Unless we bus the despairing unemployed from the rust belt and let them loose in the fields with tiny spoons and eyedroppers.

ANd to be fair, I think I have better music taste than Steve: Death Cab, Krist Novoselic, Rufus Wainwright = all washed up indie rock retirees.

And Novoselic is a 'Paultard', IIRC.

If I were you, I would not have referred to those musicians as hipsters. They really do not fit that bill, and if you lived in the NW, you might realize that it's actually an insult.

While I do like many of those musicians, there was another endorsement that I think holds more water. Former Senator Max Cleland is heading all the way to Oregon to campaign for OR-Sen candidate Jeff Merkley. Now, that's an endorsement worth talking about.
