"I'M NOT A PLAGIARIST, MY FRIENDS" John McCain's so old that the speeches he plagiarizes are in fact plagiarizing his own speeches from centuries earlier. [Think Progress]

Good thing he's giving the same speech he gave in 1995. Now that is progress!
I hear McCain is so troubled by this he went home, sat down on his plastic-covered couch, ate a handful of hard candy from the candy dish, and went to bed before Matlock was even on.
...I kinda figured it was a rehash when he started rambling on about the threat of Kaiser Wilhelm II.
I thought he was plagiarizing Herbert Hoover, of whom he ran vehemently against in the 1928 primary.
Colonel Tighe is nothing bit consistent in his strategy to defeat the Cylons, though it appears as if he IS a Cylon.
If the problems haven't changed.. whats he been doing in the senate all these years? Aside from getting skin cancer and stimulating the Joementum...
This is nothing compared to the row he had with Cicero, who accused him of plagiarizing bits of his speech about Rullus' agrarian law.
McCain now and McCain then and that other guy Ziemer used words like "wretched" and "million tragedies" to describe war. In today's other earth-shaking news, Condi said Hello Kitty was cute and Bush put butter on his toast.
Next thing, Republicans are going to tell us that at least he is consistent and doesn't flip flop.
Meanwhile, 4001, 4002.....
@FloraWay: Goodness! That was way back when Cindy was still composed of 80% organic materials!
"I detest war. It might not be the worst thing to befall human beings, but it is wretched beyond all description. When nations seek to resolve their differences by force of arms, a million tragedies ensue. The lives of a nation's finest patriots are sacrificed."
McCain may not have been the first to plagiarize it! But he is certainly the first to lie about it. Oops! McCain is only in 2nd place -- General Sherman edged him out for one who totally despised the war he waged, but only by a little. Go Nuts, Walnuts! The more you crush 'em, the more you cry. What a man!
