New McCain Video Makes Best Case For Torture-President

John McCain is pushing hard these days to become the President of Torture. In a new web video, McCain and his Navy buddies talk for four minutes about how he was tortured. And his lovely mother Roberta says that when she learned John was a P.O.W., it was the best news she'd ever heard. After four minutes of TORTURE TORTURE BLOOD PULP TORTURE, the idea is clear: this never happened to Barack Obama at all. Check it out below, you hateful liberal Democrats.

  • if torture gets the truth out of people, then the anti-american statement john mccain wrote and signed as a POW is priceless proof that he hates america even more than barack and hillary put together.

  • I blame Paris Hilton. She could have called up to the front desk and had the guy released... for God's sake her daddy OWNED THE PLACE!

  • I hear that even if you torture St. Barack of Obama the wounds miraculously heal themselves, just like black Jesus in "Like a Prayer."

  • Why does his mother look like she ought to be his wife and his wife look like she ought to be his daughter?

    Republicans are weird.

  • What is it with Republicans and pilots? Bush was too drunk (and well-connected) to fly, and WALNUTS! got shot down time after time. In 2012, they're going to put up John Travolta and his wig for the nom.

  • @metropolitan: "I am a black criminal and I have performed the deeds of an air pirate. I almost died, and the Vietnamese people saved my life, thanks to the doctors." --John "Walnuts" McCain. [en.wikipedia.org]

  • It looks more like a long vacation in Vietnam, to me.

  • His mom was soooo excited that he was going to be tortured! YIPEE!!!

  • I study Japanese martial arts and therefore adhere to my own version of Bushido (remember Nippon won the war,yuh know). Under Bushido McCain would be considered less than nothing...He surrendered and eventually even propagandized for the North Vietnamese. Some hero, they broke him and played him like a puppet- and this hen he was young and supposedly tough! Now he's in advanced geezerhood we're supposed to believe it when he shouts Never Give Up! Never Surrender! We'll be in Iraq for 100 years if neccesary! Sure. Banzai.Makes me suspect Alzheimers...

  • Ok everyone, just get the fuck out of John McCain's way. He believes that a higher being has a mission for him in his life. Oh never mind; he's referring to George W Bush.

  • John McCain in my opinion is no war hero just because he got shot down and tortured. I guess we should ask the people in Abu Graib if they feel the same as John McCain.

  • Oh, crap, if McNuts is elected preznit, are we going to war with Viet Nam again?

  • Well, at least he graduated at the bottom of his class. And defrauded The American taxpayer out of billions of dollars as a part of the Keating 5 / Savings and Loan scandal.

So he has that going for him. Oh, and all his mistresses. And the humiliating yet well-deserved castigation he got in the Senate for his tremendously blatant ethical lapses.

He's no Giuliani, of course, but then again who is?

  • 1:07-1:10; Going for the urban youth vote?!?

  • He happens to be very lucky to be who he is.
If he was a woman (of any color) he would not be in this position. And if he had not gotten his taxpayer-funded plane shot down by a bunch of commie peasant gooks and allowed himself to be captured and tortured he would not be in this position.
And the country is caught up in the concept.

  • Isn't there a rule that says if you believe God wants you to be president, you definitely shouldn't be? But now that he has the Hanoi Hilton Veterans for Truth on his side, he can do whatever he wants and they'll cheer.
And the child in the flight suit saluting looked familiar -- I think I saw him before, on an aircraft carrier under a "mission accomplished" banner.

  • @Aurelio:
Wow, Hillz will have a fun time with that line... "I'm the only candidate for President that won't be coming into your 'hood to sell crack and steal your hubcaps"

  • I'd immediately accept that he was dead as well.

  • In 2005 I went to the Hanoi Hilton and looked closely at the photographs. You can see JSM in bed with bandages on his arm; the bed itself looks clean; and the smile on his face indicates to me he received humanitarian treatment. It was when the release was coming that the talk focuses on torture. Being from Missouri, I would like to read first hand what the torture consisted of, not the opinion of Orson and others, but what JSM actually said. Did they operate on him without anesthesia? Did they pull out his finger nails; did they rebreak bones in order to reset them, but did it without anesthesia.

Did any PW get released from Hanoi Hilton or did they all tell them to shove it? Did any of them make propaganda broadcasts? Lots of unknown information. Is it still classified?

  • John McCain is a great American hero with a capital H and anyone who says different is a spineless useless 'tard of the first order.

That said, I'm not voting for him because I disagree with just about every policy stance he has.

  • JSM is a hero, but not John Kerry. JSM was tortured because somebody said so; JFK was awarded hero medals but they were not deserved, so I may be a spineless useless 'tard of the first order, but I am from Missouri!

  • I did read the Wikipedia account of JSM in Hanoi and it sounded brutal, but was it?

  • @Pupster: Indeed. There are things to dislike about John McCain, but lack of heroism is not one of them. The man has balls of steel, his story is incredible, and I'd be proud to shake his hand. But I probably still won't vote for him.
