So, remember how Bill Clinton left office in a flurry of pardons? And there were all kinds of allegations of family members taking money to ask for said pardons? Yeah, some scandals never die.

In a completely unsurprising development, (at least) 3 of Hillary’s donors got pardons from her husband before he left office. From their perspective, it probably makes sense, since who wouldn’t want to support the campaign of the wife of the dude that wiped your legal slate clean? The three are: John Deutch, one of Clinton’s CIA directors who faced criminal charges for mishandling government secrets; David Herdlinger, a prosecutor and judge who took bribes to make DUI charges disappear for some people in Arkansas; and Alfredo Luna Pharr Regalado, who was caught smuggling cash without a customs declaration.

The response from Hillary’s camp, via campaign manager Howard Wolfson: “We have raised over $65 million from over 200,000 people. I appreciate your bringing the instance of this $5,300 and these three people to our attention.” Which, really, is a great way to make Hillary look less entitled and more accessible, dude.
