Ex-Congressman John “McSlappy” Sweeney was, as we reported, arrested last weekend for driving up the Northway (aka, I-87) in upstate New York drunk as a skunk. At the time, reports said the recently-divorced wife-beater had a 23 year-old woman in the passenger seat. It turns out that “passenger seat” might have been an exaggeration.

Because, you see, apparently McSlappy and his passenger couldn’t exactly wait to get all the way back home to get the after-dinner entertainment started. As was reported this morning, the Congressman’s “unsafe lane change” that precipitated his traffic stop may itself have been precipitated by a little road head. That’s right: a former Congressman was driving drunk at highway speeds while getting head on a Saturday night from a woman. That last part is totally impressive for a Republican, but maybe they all switch back once they stop drinking the water on the Hill? In any case, one strongly suspects that Sweeney spent the rest of the night not only sobering up but with a raging case of blue balls and that is just fine by us.
