The Senate voted 79-14 today to override President Bush’s veto of the “water bill.” The House had voted 361-54 in favor of the bill Tuesday, so this marks the first time a Bush veto has been overridden. Woohoo. The water bill. Three cheers for… the water bill. [NYT]
