Rep. Charlie Norwood of Georgia died today after a long struggle with cancer. The 65-year-old congressman was fighting both idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and non-small cell lung cancer. His family and staff in the 10th District are preparing a memorial for the popular six-term representative and Vietnam veteran.
But in the House of Representatives, even a tough battle against cancer is ultimately a “debate” — according to CNN, at least.
