Former Prez George H. W. Bush uses “the email,” according to an exciting deathbed interview with him and his strangely unchanged-since-1988 wife Barbara on Fox last night.
We did actually learn something, though — current President Bush doesn’t use the I-mails because he is fairly certain he’ll be the target of lengthy investigations and criminal proceedings sometime in the near future:
You worry about it. People are going to subpoena the email records and we are going to, you know, you’ve gotta prove that you were telling the truth and all this stuff.
So it’s not technical inability that prevents our Commander in Chief from opening a Gmail account. It’s the onerous burden of plausible deniability.
Also, Bush 41 blames unnamed “bloggers” for unnamed evils.
