From our greaser brothers at Jalopnik, this is a detail from the tricked out military surplus Hummer that CNN had customized for some reason or another. Charity-related troop-supporting. But mostly just so that they could have a tricked-out Hummer. Because there’s no better way to celebrate the power and import of objective warzone journalism than just not even pretending to separate yourself from the military you’re “covering.”
Also we don’t know what they paid for this, but we know at a guy at the mall who could’ve just airbushed that cameraman dude onto a t-shirt for like ten bucks.
