UPDATE: Fox reports that last weekend, Schumer wanted to appear on both “This Week” and attend a Fourth of July party in the Hamptons so ABC went to the trouble of chartering a plane to fly Schumer in and out of Washington. It seems like an extravagant move, but if all those lefty 527s gearing up for the Supreme Court fight are looking to spend their money, getting Schumer a private charter for every trip wouldn’t be the worst move.
